I was disappointed with Allen Berger because he really doesn’t like the truth. He is delusional and almost in denial about what is going on in Gaza. Let us call a spade a spade for God’s sake. My grandparents suffered a lot and when I see history repeating itself, I will not stay silent. When you are staying neutral in the face of injustice, you really are participating with the perpetrators.

Yes it needs some updating and some other amendments now that we are in an era of harm reduction and complete abstinence is either way to hard to fathom for some or maybe they have unorthodox views on certain homeopathic remedies 🎉 and i appreciate you guys covering the same gender sponsor topic 🎉

From my own experience, there are two distinct aspects of recovery. The first being "physical", and the second being "emotional". Neither one of them will occur until a person has reached the bitter end of their endurance. (Physical, mental, emotional, and moral.) "We stood at the turning point. We asked his protection and care with "COMPLETE" abandon". NOT partial, not mostly, not 99.5%...but "COMPLETE". Only when that admission to our innermost selves has been accepted, and a person walks through the doors of sobriety for the first time, or tenth time, is there any chance at achieving meaningful growth. Hopefully, we quickly transition to "living in the solution, instead of the problem. Alcohol becomes less, and less our focus, and living to good purpose becomes our way of life. For me, being a part of the fellowship is the greatest opportunity that can befall a chronic drinker. It has also been the greatest adventure of my existence! ✌❤ Mark

When I took a month off alcohol at the age of 29 in 1995, there no other alcohol free communities but AA. In my opinion, AA put too much blame on the person and let the addictive poison that is alcohol off the hook.

This is very interesting. How many treatments does it take to get to the point where you feel "alcohol just isn't necessary anymore". I'm getting ready to start my journey (I'm nervous) and have been told I should do 10 treatments totaling $3500.00 or $495.00 for one treatment (1 hr. infusions). Do I need to do maintenance treatments if it works? My AUD condition is embarrassing enough and I think the ketamine clinics know that so they sell a program for money (which I understand it costs for everything) instead of helping fix the problem. Since most clinics are working with depression, and dosing for each condition is different, should I try to find a clinic that works specifically for AUD? I can't seem to find one in the Tampa FL area (AUD specific).)

I think you should publish the book, and use the profits to help Ukrainians. I would also use the book tour to highlight Ukranian voices and stories. It’s a huge problem in the US that so many Congressmen are refusing to aid Ukraine, I think a few hundred women being reminded to call their Congressmen would do a huge amount of good

Eat Pray Love moved me. And committed broke my heart. It killed the magic somehow. And strangely both books are honest. But the love ran out in Committed. And also the fact that she became woke, lesbian and broke that marriage which we all felt was a sign of universal magic, just felt like a let down. And no I am not judging....but it's like...u make someone believe in magic and then throw a bucket of cold water on their faces and say "Get up. Stop day dreaming".

28:19 - that is 1000000% spot on. You can't quit alcohol with willpower because you're then sentenced to a life of anguish with no reprieve. Willpower is like a muscle and it eventually wears out. Allen Carr said it best: rather than saying "I can never drink again", you say "you never have to drink again". I'm looking forward to starting my ketamine therapy next week for depression and based on everything I've read and studied (including this video), it's going to be the blessing I need. Alcohol fixes my sadness but when it leaves it exacerbates it. It's the perfect trap. Once I relieve the physiological issues that it created, I'll have no use for it any longer. I hope to be able to come back here in 1 month and tell the world how done I am and how happy I am now.
