stop feeling sorry for yourself and start taking action to become the version of yourself that isn't a people pleaser. it's not rude to prioritize yourself!

becoming stoic
มุมมอง 5321 วันที่ผ่านมา
becoming stoic is not about feeling "nothing". it's about feeling everything and taking control. a quick history lesson on Stoicism: created around 300-320 BC by a merchant named Zeno who was introduced to philosophy when he arrived in Athens. he developed his adaptation to cope with loss. (he was in a shipwreck on his way to Athens where he lost everything) originally, his followers were calle...

Loving myself has helped in breaking the loop of people pleasing and being afraid to “hurt” people. Now I know that because I was in that energy the worst people saw that they can take a disadvantage of that and I’d let them. No I say fuck nah, I’m not crawling back to toxic relationships in any form whatsoever. I’m dead ass done, because the same people will stay the same if I help them or not. I need to worry about me.
exactly!! so proud of you breaking that cycle :D
I agree. Stoicism has always been misunderstood these days. Love the vid.

Sometimes they all ways use commercials of fat shaming people!!!

awe, thank you so much! you're so kind 🫶
Thank you ❤
you're welcome! and thank you for watching ☺
Sally is me!! Getting better tho I still think it’s situational depending on the OP’s type of job, it takes 2 seconds to throw a “I’ll hit you later”. And if in the past they text you all day then started waiting days to no reply? Yeah, that’s intentional and immature AF.
i agree with you! it takes max 5 seconds for a 4 worded text. ive seen them fingers move fast when they are typing paragraphs lol
Me too 😅 We gonna heal though dang it
i’m here for moral support! 🫶🏽

Ayeee that’s right!!
Very cool point about what some countries do to alleviate the financial burden of eating healthily. In the US, some states (for example, Michigan) have a program that allow you to double up your cash when you buy fresh produce with a bridge card (at certain locations/retailers). Of course, not everyone qualifies for a bridge card, but if you do, look into what policies let you get more out of your money. That said, I do find it pretty strange that obesity/overweight is a problem for much of the world but it's been pushed onto the individual to solve (in the States, anyway). Socially, there's a pressure to over-consume (and especially to over-consume harmful foods and products) and it requires a good amount of knowledge and experience to learn what normal, healthy, balanced diets truly look and feel like.
we should bully them till they lose weight
Naaah, fat shaming should be accented more so people understand that it is not okay to just get incredibly fat. Obesity is not somethin to be proud of & in America that is our biggest problem since heart disease is the #1 killer.
Still you shouldn’t be rude! There’s a difference in telling them, “hey, I have a diet that I use and maybe you can use it too! 🫶” and just being plain out rude. Even if it’s honest, it’s still cruel and should not be expected.
to shame someone - bad thing, but to tell that they are good looking and lie to them is the same bad thing
Oh my gawd, I had to subscribe! Thank you so much!!
i'm glad i could help <3
