Just do what you think works for you best! If you want Jiyan or maybe you already have him and you want his sequence nodes, then this banner is amazing for you. If you don't want Jiyan, then you are in risk of getting him if you pull for Mortefi's sequences. Just be sure of what you want and act accordingly!

True, but you can only get up to 2 sequence nodes via corals, so it doesn't mean much for f2p or low spending players, while dolphins/whales will buy the C6 via their wallet anyway if they want to simp hard enough ahah

Wouldn't call them stupid tho. You get a 4-star character for 10 pulls worth of corals, so in case you REALLY want the 4-star character, but don't like the limited 5-star on the banner - in my opinion, the trade-off is very much worth it. But as always, just do what you want, what you think is right, this is just my point of view.

Yes, abyss surges is fine, it's just that a minor amount of the player base will have it at this point. Most have already spent their weapon choice box on other options. If people have it tho then sure, they don't need to pull for the sig, except for the drip/ if they're simping :)

Same mate, I had terrible luck with Verity, just ran dry, but I really like the character, and the weapon seems super solid, like Stringmaster, for any other Gauntlet user that comes out, so I think it was worth it.

Wish you luck on your future pulls! It really depends on whether the future gauntlet users will mostly deal resonance liberation damage or not. Either way though the weapon will be a solid choice simply because it has a crit main-stat, so it's definitely OK in terms of long-term investment imo.

I'm not exactly sure what the issue is with the H Rover Jianxin Baizhi team though, it seems like a solid team! Just give Jianxin the moonlit clouds 5 piece set and use the Impermanence Heron echo skill. This team will involve a lot of quickswapping though, as it's important to use Rover's skill off-cooldown to fill the forte gauge and Jianxin's skill as well for the concerto energy buildup. And Jianxin will also deal some damage as a sub-dps if you get the Aero DMG boost on the 3-cost echoes! I can't tell you the exact rotations with this team as I've not played with it much, but I'm sure if you'll get some experience using this team you will be able to get great results from it!

I dunno, even if Geshu Lin is coming in 1.3 there's still a lot of time (at minimum 60 days if he comes out in 1.3 first half which I'm pretty sure is going to be Shorekeeper's banner) to gain currency. So unless you want to go for Xiangli Yao's weapon, I'm pretty sure you can easily guarantee Geshu Lin and an another unit before he comes out :)

I wish you luck on your pulls then, hope you'll get the weapons early! I'd rather Kuro not rush stuff too much, going from 1.4 to 2.0 would mean they're going to have to make a loooot of new content real fast and the quality might suffer because of it. We'll have to see what Kuro will cook up tho

I wouldn't say she's the most OP unit out there but she's definitely solid, in this video she's only level 80 with level 80 4star weapon and not maxed talents and still her ult does around 40k damage in total. Give her more investment and 40k will become 70 or more, that's great enough for a sub-dps ultimate in my books )

Yeah, it can be quite hard to pull off the forte circuit, but with experience you will find more opportunities to do it without dying :) Also you can use the Bellborne Geochelone echo skill, with this you'll be able to take up to 3 hits and not take any damage while doing the forte.

I may be coping, but I think dmg bonus stats should be worth it. ATK is universal and buffs all types of damage, so it should be built first, so ATK% is a high priority, but the higher UL we get, the less flat ATK will matter since the base stats get higher and % stats get better. At least that's what makes sense in my mind, if that is not how the game works, then I'm a bit sad lol Yeah, the simple heavy attack also has I-frames, but as you said, using it to dodge is almost impossible. And using it as an offensive option is a damage loss compared to getting your combos going. Only thing going for it in my mind is that it looks cool lmao

@@GodgivenLeo Simply say, Danjin prefers flat atk because her base atk is low (like all other 4star), her dmg is divided to many types and she has many dmg bonus buffs in her kit. In a team, Heavy occupies only 34.7%, Res skill occupies 27.3%, liberation 17%, echoe 11.2% and the rest is her basic + intro (from Prydwen). If you use her solo, like no teamates at all, her Heavy occupies more, depends on player skill, but no more than 40% in my opinion. About self buff from her kit, at C6, it gives overall 40% dmg bonus (as a debuff to enemies), 42% Havoc dmg bonus and 30% Heavy ATK bonus, which devalue any additional dmg bonus giving to her, and we're talking about Heavy ATK bonus specifically, which only occupies max 40% of her dmg. Keep in mind that Echoes set also gives 40% more havoc bonus. She does have 62% ATK self buff from her kit, which does devalue flat atk, but it's nothing compared to what I showed up there and due pretty low base attack, value of ATK% also decreases, which indirectly increases the value of Flat Atk. I do know that Atk% buffs from Verina and 2 support sets will devalue flat atk, but after calculated carefully, flat atk is still a little better (and I was pretty generous for Heavy dmg bonus by assuming we play the rotation perfectly).

This is "A Casual's Guide" after all, so deep theory-crafting is a bit out of my field of view most of the time lmao.
