I really, REALLY appreciate this as a rather casual player. I almost gave up on Calcharo, but I really want to play him and build the second team for the Tower of Adversity. Thank you so much, Mr Godgiven!
Unfortunately yeah, getting good echoes is very RNG based, I've been trying to get a tempest mephis with double crit for my yinlin for over a week now and still can't get it lol The devs did say they're going to boost the echo exp yield in patch 1.1, so hopefully the exp issue will be solved, or at least minimized. With the last events devs also started giving out more echo exp so if previously I was absolutely starving for it, now I'm just a bit hungry xd
@@GodgivenLeo Hopefully we'll get the Star Rail style "choose your main stat" echo to enlarge the possibility of double crit. I do hope Kuro does things about it, but I will only praying from a distance since I'm not meta oriented, hahaha.
Wuwa already has 3-cost elemental dmg main stat echo selectors, maybe we'll get 1-cost and 4-cost selectors in the future, but I kinda doubt it. 4-cost echoes can be infinitely farmed and there's so many 1-cost echoes in the world that there's no real need for these selectors to exist. We'll have to see though
I think that he's still worth building even if you're gonna pull Jinhsi, for some situations you will need an electro DPS, and Calcharo is the best option to take that spot as of right now. Ofc don't do that if you just don't want to build him :)
I built Calcaro because he was the first five star I got next to lion boy... but then I got Jiyan C1 with his signature weapon and all hell broke loose on the TFs...😂
I disagree with the flautist pick. Flautist doesn't deal as much damage as the thundering mephis or tempest mephis, neither does he provide any buffs and the echo skill takes more time than tempest mephis's, so in my opinion there's no incentive to pick flautist over any of the mephises.
@@GodgivenLeo it actually does more damage than any of the mephis', per cast is 11,792 damage, cast time is 3 seconds with a cooldown of 15 seconds. you could say u can cast it 3 times in 1 min that totals to 35,376 damage. while tempest's damage per cast is 9,962 and its cast time is 2.5 secs and cd is 20s 60/2.5+20 = 2 casts in 60 seconds totalling to 19,924 damage. thundering deals the most but u could say it will do worse cuz of how long it takes to attack. thundering may give better buffs that makes calcharo better but it also ruins ur rotation cuz by the time ur halfway thru ur rl state, all ur other buffs are already gone. also flautist can be quick swapped which definitely fits calcharo's and yinlin's quick swap rotation
@@vyierae Didn't know flautist could be quick swapped, but still, I think when you're playing an on-field dps you'd rather buff him up as much as you can and deal the damage with the character, rather than rely on an echo skill dps lol. But again, the best echo is the one you enjoy using more, so if someone likes to use flautist then it's a all good
new weapon i.e jinhsi's sig weapon, can it work for calcharo? i need crit rate but not sure if it works for him(im using jiyan's weap), seems like it does but im too dumb👨🦯 66/244, liberation crit deals around 30k-50k but 66 crit rate is a bit low... but jinhsi's would give me around 90/210 and i could change echo set for 70-80/270
I don't have any information on Jinshi as of yet, so can't say. If her weapon will have a crit mainstat then at the very least it'll be a good statstick. If that's the case, then depending on the weapon's passive it'll be either good or great for Calcharo

Honestly I was planning on building Calcharo since I got his S1, butttt my plans changed :3 ( I'm planning on pulling for Jinhsi now. )

Nobody uses Flautist for maximizing damage. Everyone suggests to use Tempest.
