Great video. The sleeping berths with blinds for privacy may not look like much, by the ISS has none - just attachment points for sleeping bags. A little private space is much better than none at all. The co-orbiting telescope is also a nice idea. Maintenance and upgrades would be much easier and cheaper than the Hubble. And the JWST can't be maintained at all. I hear they have plans to invite people from other nations to the Tiangong, but nothing concrete so far.
Thank you. Yes I would think given the confined space providing a level of privacy would be good. Agree the Xuntian telescope co-orbiting is a good idea.
Just like all developing countries, China has a space station and aircraft carriers in their navy. Yeah maybe someone should consider taking them off that list... This space station is lame compared to the ones I have built in Kerbal Space Program! I don't see any giant fuel tanks for filling up interplanetary vessels! Weak sauce.
ISS is old junk lol. CSS is many times more advance. No need big fuel tank 😅

@@hammer8828 Yes, she does. So would I.
Even if the Chinese have 36 LST, 14 LSM and 36 LSD, they still need 12 LSM, 72 Large Transport Ships. Plus 12 New Aircraft Carriers and 4 COPS (With about 12 Divisions) for Amphibian Landing Army Operations. (Each having 3 Mechanised, 1 Armored, 1 Cavalry and 1 Air Mobile Brigade). Plus 4 AirForce Corps. (Each having 650 War Playns). In Order to Land at Luzon Philippines, Northern Borneo Indonesia, NE Papua New Guinea of Indonesia and NE Malaysia and head for Singapore. The Chinese will take First the First Island Chains. I believe they will be Combat ready by 2028.
There’s a lot of people saying that the wz-7A engine is aiming to finish testing and be fitted to the z-8 naval variant in 2026. PLAN upper officers right now is super unsatisfied with the current z-8c because they don’t have enough lifting capabilities and is just slightly better than the z-18.(working models as some calls it) The new engine should give 1600kw of power, domestically built to by pass the number limitation(current land based z-8L’s engine is still Canadian engine I believe)with 3 engines possibly in a different configuration(ac313a engine configuration, though I can’t say that for sure), and with a updated hull equivalent to the land based Z-8L, joining in with the z-20j, I think the type075’s capabilities will have a noticeable upgrade beyond 2027. The new Z-8 might be able to lift the mengshi 3 platform which is about 6-8 tons depend on the load out and can seat a full squad of 9 marines. Currently the z-8c can only lift the lynx 8x8 that seats 6 at the most and is exposed with no suspension. Of course the PLAN still lacks it’s own naval based attack helicopters. At this point I think they’ll just use z-20 instead of a dedicated attack heli. If the z-10 can be navalized they would’ve done it already, and the z-21 is too heavy and also would be even more troublesome to navalize than the z-10. They never bought the k-52 either. So I don’t think these can be used individually faraway from Chinese mainland in a high intensity combat situation without the support of a carrier or the type 076 even beyond 2027.
Oh and as always, enjoy your content, cheers.

Does America have an Arms expo equivalent? Would be interesting to compare the current theory in warfare between the two. For example, does America have as much of a focus on anti-drone tech as China?
China is leading the Global South (83% of the world). Western (13% of the world) weapons are over priced, unreliable, and have long lead times.

祝您在中国玩的愉快,今年去的人有点多
Thank you for your video. I wish you a pleasant experience in China. There are many people going to the air show this year, and my friends didn’t get tickets.😂😂😂
Thank you. It was a wonderful time in Zhuhai. All 3 public days were sold out. I wanted to go for a second day but couldn't get the ticket.
Chinese Internet comments said that unless China brings out the legendary H20 strategic bomber next time, it will be hard to have more discussion than this year's Zhuhai Air Show. Because this Zhuhai Air Show, I didn't expect so many equipments to be there. In addition to the previous three musketeers of the Chinese Air Force, there are also J35A, J15T J15D YY20, J15D HQ19 BMD system, unmanned combat vehicles ,Drones and unmanned ships, and Russia's Su-57……If J10C hadn't shown off its beast mode mount, no one would have paid attention to it this time...………😂😂😂
Agree. It will be difficult for the next show to top this one.
I was seeing some people say certain areas were closed to foreigners after something was stolen in the small arms area or something?
I hadn't heard that, so I can't add anything. I certainly wasn't restricted from any public area.
Thank you for taking the time to travel, and produce this video. I greatly appreciate it, and I must admit I to would have been focusing on the tanks/ifv/small arms.

Perhaps better than scripted?
Well, I consciously didn’t want to be that harsh on all your great previous videos, but since you’re asking. Yes. Your cadence, intonation, and flow when unscripted make for a much more pleasant and engaging listening experience. If you could find a way to communicate the high valuable content you already present in your usual scripted videos in what I presume is your more natural voice, I think it would really level up your presentations.

Can't buy on location. Have to go to the official website.

Thank you. Appreciated. Many of the displays are potentially only for export, but you never know.
@ thanks. But yeah the vn-20 is definitely a product for the saudis with its rear remote turrets. It’s way too heavy for the plagf doctrines.
Hell yeah!
Was well worth it.
Interesting airshow, definitely different to Western versions as public is usually part restricted especially if its main defence booths like BAE, Boeing, Airbus etc. I seen brief look like CH47 chinook, is China planning bring one into service? At airshow was information on display in literature from to take? Or buy any small scale models?
There was a scale model of a UAV that has a similar configuration to a CH-47. Maybe, I cold see the value in that.

During my service onboard Victory class corvettes in the mid 90s. we had exercise with the Australia Navy off NT ( northern territory) and had my R&R in Darwin exercise codename "SINGAROO". That naval exercise is my trip to Australia and later further my studies in WA Murdoch university. I love Aussies and blessing to all Australians. Thank you,
@@roubini74 Glad you enjoyed the Ozzie experience.
My guess is this probably also serves as a version of lightning carriers like the America class or kaga carrier of japan. Chinese carrier jets are larger in size while the carriers are smaller than the US counter parts. The 076 should serves as a platform for additional airwings for the carriers to close the gap in numbers. And it doubles as an emergency landing platform for the air war in the open ocean. Otherwise there would be no reason to install the very space consuming 100 meter class catapult, a 50 meter one should be more than enough for any naval drones if this was only meant to be a drone/landing assault ship. Love your videos btw, Keep up the good work!
Thank you, much appreciated.
@ don’t mean to rush you, but I really look forward to the PLA heavy combined arms brigade briefing, cheers!
@Jiaqi-p5b Doing the Zhuhai Airshow now.
@ yay!
So in essence, consecutive useless and corrupt Australian government's have failed to maintain the ADF's ability to defend Australia.
This will upset a few, but we don't need an Army. We couldn't afford an army big enough to prevent an invasion from an enemy so why have one at all. The Army should be converted to an unarmed Civil Defence Service, that can be utilised in times of civil emergency, and at other times carry out maintenance and similar work around the country. Replace the weapons with construction tools, the armoured vehicles with trucks and bull dozers etc. Train young people up in trades that they can use when leaving for jobs in the private industry.
I think with Germany buying a few boxers from Australia Australia should start working with the Germany because the boxer has so much potential working together we could build a world class machine
Is that deal still going ahead? I thought I'd heard it was cancelled.
@Strategy_Analysis it's a done deal , Germany purchased 100 of them it's a good investment for Australia and we should be proud of ourselves, But I still think there is a lot of potential in this platform and it would be good if both nations could work together!!
@@AaronKelly-s8l Thanks for the update. Agree we could do more with the Boxer chassis. Have you seen my briefing on the Army's air defence gap?
@Strategy_Analysis yeah I have watched it would agree with most videos you put out , your content is on a different perspective and I like it broc.. keep up the good work
The foams came out of Rabit dogs . This is a dangerous time for all the humanity
This is all very interesting, and seems reasonable with the open info we have. But why do you think the PLAN will use LCACs instead of sending the amphibious machines directly? LCACs are much faster, true, but also much larger, more visible targets, and take more space so fewer machines can be carried and deployed. My point is that if PRC has air superiority, the swimming Type 05s will not be easily discovered, and the lower speed will not give the defenders time to prepare. But the larger number, combined with their very low profile when swimming, and ability to fire while swimming, will pack a bugger punch.
Thanks for the comment. The short answer is that by using the LCACs, the LHA can stand off further, improving its defence against land-based threats.
@@Strategy_Analysis Thanks for the answer. I couldn't find the sea range of Type 05 anywhere. However, its land range is given at 500km, its max land speed is 65km/h, so about 7.5 hours of driving. Its sea speed is around 30km/h, but horsepower is tripled, so presumably fuel consumption is tripled as well. Endurance on water would be down to 2.5 hours of swimming. This should mean 75km water range, right? I admit my calculations are making a lot of assumptions. I swear, I'm not trying to be obtuse, I am genuinely interested in the topic, and not knowledgeable enough. These are honest questions, not criticisms for your content. I don't know if the land range is calculated when outside carrying fuel containers and filling the internal tanks midway - and if the internal tanks can be refueled while swimming. I don't know if carrying max fuel means carrying less supplies. I don't know if the operation requires fuel for return to ship, and how much would be reserved for shore operations. These are all factors which would make LCACs preferable, as they would put machines on shore fully fueled. But the type 71s and 75s can carry up to 4 Type 726 LCACs, so 8 Type 05s per ship, which feels too few for an invasion. Unless, of course, Wiki info is wrong, and I would welcome a correction.
