I need this in my life 🎉
Thank you so much for watching and for your feedback! 😊
do you have a mask on?
Well done!
Thank you so much! 😊
The dead space witch have no place to live any longer- fantastic!
God forbid something falls out you wont be able to close it. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol. That could be an issue 🤔
Background kids are annoying
Thank you for watching and for your feedback 😊
Fabulous adaptation. Skilled installation.
Thank you so much! 😊
You are a brilliant problem solver!👏👏👏👏
@@lauraray2785 Thank you so much for watching and your kind words! 😊
I prefer to avoid blind corners by using a pentagon build.
That is a good option where possible. There actually is a pentagon build on the other corner of this U shaped kitchen. The cook top being so close to the corner didn't leave room here, however. Thank you so much for watching and your feedback! 🙂
Impressive!!
Thank you so much! 🙂
Just WOW!!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you so much! 🙂
Very impressive! Awesome job!
Thanks for watching and for the kind words! 😊
Great job 👍
Thanks for watching! 🙂
nice job fella. however I think I would have tried to make the door and drawer as one. ie; attach them together and open and close them both as one large door. I'm guessing though that you wanted to save the drawer. regardless, nice work.
Thank you so much for sharing your idea!
Haven't gotten to the end yet...the comments have me pretty excited about it...but it feels like it would have been a lot simpler to just cut out the drawer and get a new door, would it have been?
Thank you for your feedback. You ask a good question. Each situation does have its own variables but in this particular situation removing the drawer and face frame rail would have been more difficult. Thank you so much! 🙂
GREAT JOB! I was so happy for you, to see all your hard work pay off! Nicely done, sir! [11.21.2024]
Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
WOW how great‼️‼️
Thank you so much! 🙂
What a waste of space and money. Find you some bins of appropriate sizes and you can put one in the corner and one in the doorway. Pull out the one in the door and then you can slide out the one in the corner. Use the corner to store seldom used articles.
Thank you for sharing your solution and for your feedback!😊
If there is not a wall on the back side of the cabinet, just cut out the back and make a book shelf of for nick nacks and photos.
That is a great solution for islands or peninsulas. Thank you so much for your feedback!😀
We just put a door on the other side of the counter. We just open the door and can see right in to grab what we need.
That is a great solution on an island or peninsula where there is access to the back side. Thank you so much for watching and for your feedback! 😊
Oh my gosh, this is fantastic work, sir!
Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
Absolutely heroic videographer!
@@zita-lein Thank you so much!
Just EXCELLENT!
@@MarieJackson-sp3be Thank you so much! Your feedback and support are very much appreciated. 😊
This was an amazing install and video! I want to your drawing on the board outside to fully cement the process in my head but you made what seemed like an impossible task so possible. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
I appreciate the kind words. Glad you found the video helpful! And thank you for your support and feedback. 😀
OLD SCHOOL LAZY SUSAN CABINETS!!
Good point. There actually is a lazy Susan on the other corner of this U shaped kitchen. Thank you and best wishes 😊
Thanks!
@@juliebarnett9812 Thank you! 😊
My kitchen has two dead spaces at the corners. They used to be a great hide and seek spot when I was a kid until I ran into a spider. Any solutions for a corner spot with no access at all except from beneath?
😂 I love the story of the spiders 🕷 I can mentally picture the dead space you're speaking of, but I don't have any suggestions (yet). Anyone else out there have any suggestions? Thank you so much for your feedback and support 😀
@renaissanceman950 Thank YOU so much for answering. I think the solution would be to replace the cabinets. They date from 1960 and are massively impractical. Not only do we have the dead space in the corner ers, but the cabinets are about ten inches off the ground on metal stilts. It was the latest design back then, but it is lost space, and everything that is dropped in the kitchen goes beneath them and has to be retrieved. I asked my parents what they were thinking, and my mother said it looked light and airy. Then they moved out and left me the house, so I can't complain too much.
@@erynlasgalen1949 😀 Those cabinets sound very interesting. I would be interested in how it turns out. Best wishes!
Clever!😊
Thank you so much!
I have a corner like that and it’s in a bar counter. When we redo the kitchen I’m just going to put a hidden / blind door on the backside to use from the family room.
That is a fantastic idea for utilizing the space!
Brilliant!
Thank you so much!😀
I love this product, but have a poorly p-designed shelf that is in the way. I’ll definitely keep this in mind for the next move, which will be sooner rather than later.
Thank you so much for watching and thank you for your feedback! Best wishes and lots of luck! 🙂
Having cabinets done and we are not putting in any cabinets that would create the blind corner. Empty space with no access.
Good planning certainly pays off. Best wishes! 🙂
That cabinet looks too convoluted and awful to use. My husband put one in for me which is wooden and absolutely a dream to us. Omega National Maple Blind Corner Caddy. It has the cabinet and 2 drawers. It took him no time to assemble and install.
Thanks for sharing your solution, I'm always interested in what works best for people!
Seemed like a quick build, love the cat on the ladder. And all the other cats and kittens too. Thanks
Thanks! I love how they all seem to enjoy it 😊
This is really fancy. Well done. Very Nice For anyone who doesn’t have the know how or $$$ to do this. You can also get 2 Rubbermaid containers-. Add wheels or felt so they slide easily. It works great. The containers catch all crumbs depending on what you put in them too. Easy to clean and you can use the drawer. You do have to remove the 1st container to get to the second, but it only takes a minute.
Thanks for sharing your solution. I love hearing how people are customizing their spaces.
That’s what I did when I moved in to my house.
Since I didn’t need the space in the far back of the cabinet I just installed a 2 drawer sliding unit that pulls straight out .I use it for my cereals and triscuit boxes. If I ever did want to use that space I thought I could cut an opening in the wall of the cabinet next to the blind corner cabinet, but I don’t need the space . 10:35
That is a good idea! Thank you and best wishes 😊
I have 2 bottom blind corner cabinets and 2 upper blind corner cabinets. Now i have ideas on how to better use……. Thank you!
@aessidhe6304 Thank you! I would love to know how it turns out. Thank you again and best wishes 😊
Can you tell me what the minimum width of the cabinet door should be. I don't know if my door opening is too small.
@cousinJoJo1 Good question. This cabinet had a 17" wide opening. Any smaller and it might not have worked. Thank you and best of luck! 🙂
the real test is, put the box out there as well after finishing the kitten condo and see which one they like best LOL
🤣 So true!
Yes!
Thank you so much for your support! 🫠
I’m sending this to my husband now!!!!!!
Thank you so much for your support! I would love to hear how it goes. Thank you again and best wishes 😊
I don't have the skills or the money. I would be happy with just some rolling baskets that I could put in the blind spot area. That way I could just pull out the stuff in the front. And access the back.
That's a great solution too! I'm all about maximizing what you have.
Brilliant!
@@daisygurl3601 Thank you so much!
Congratulations on your problem solving skills and your deftness implementing your solution. But how much actual additional usable space was achieved?
Good question. Not a lot more usable space, mostly just less frustration for the home owner
I once got stuck crawling back into a blind cabinet trying to reach for something. 🤣🤣🤣
Lol. You have made my day 😆
@Lanedl1 😄😄 that is so awesome! Thank you so much!
I have a big corner like that and I actually love it. There’s no shelving or anything in there. But I have very large items that are also very light except for the toolbox :-) I don’t get in there very often but when I do, the stuff is there it’s so sometimes you don’t always have to get all fancy in those places.
I can definitely see the advantage of using the space for bulky items!
Is that mouse crap I see under the cabinet? We found that the mice were entering our house from under the cabinets, then sneaking out the air vents in the kick plates.
@@91F2Z I did install pest proof foam all through, which wasn't filmed (except for me getting my tape measurer stuck in it). 😄
