I highly recommend a forward blast device. It's basically a cone that will project the concussion of the blast forward. Big fireball but you'll feel better shooting it

I had the same problem with 2 3/4" shells. It ran fine with 3". It actually has "12 ga 3" printed on the left side. I think that's what they recommend. Im definitely going to have to pick up those sights. Nice video.

Got my Girsan Regard Gen 4 for $400 from a shop that was moving and need to reduce thier inventory. I feel I got a great deal and very happy with it. Has interchangable front and rear sights, skeletonized hammer, extended mag release, and metal guide rod which are upgrade for the beretta. Put some Wilson Combat springs in it and I'm very happy with it. Look to do a few more thnings with it, but it's a great start. I've read with the redesign of the locking block and slide, the regard can do 30k rounds in test without any major failures. 30k rounds for $400, I'm not complaining. Also that you can use the beretta barrel as long as you use the regard locking block and slide. It's more of a beretta 92f clone (the one without the slide cut.).

I would just guess the failure is the lack of recoil absorption. Just a guess but you could expect that out of most hand held calibers if you limp wrist. This is a much more powerful round. Just something to consider.
