Facts.

I am in the exactly same situation. In my country's (Peru) education is really shitass and even being in the "best" school of it. The experience is like to be a machine, really close to an AI as chatgpt that only answer questions. Thankfully, I know how to actually learn and I even think a better educational system that could make world better. They know I hate college because I posted a paper saying that. But they think I should finish school anyway 'cause doesn't let me to do anything unless I finish it. This video is kinda a contradiction proof to it so thank you for it.

Here's a tip to anyone struggling with their phone, this applies to only iPhone users unfortunetly, not too sure for Android users. iPhone has Screen Time setting, basically its for parents supervising their children, but it can be used for another reason. 1. Turn on screentime, you have options on what screen time allows and prohibits, click on Content & Privacy Restrictions, turn that setting on, and make sure Content Restrictions is set to the most restrictive option (Add any adult sites in for extra layer of protection just incase the filtering didn't already cover it). 2. If you have someone who you can trust like a friend or family member who is willing to help, tell them to put a screen time password on your iPhone and have their apple id & password hooked up to it just incase they ever forget the password. Any browser you have should now not allow any adult site. Its very simple and easy way to p**n proof your phone where ever you are. This method has helped me tremendously.

Teachers, parents, etc. grew up in a generation where college was plan A. In today's world, with the intense amount of resources we have helping us succeed in other ways, college should be plan B or plan C for most people. Especially business minded individuals. Community college is amazing and as someone who has gone through that whole process and graduated, I would 100% tell every single person in your situation to go to community college over a university for their first 2 years.

yeah i am mostly social media free and its awesome. i still have instagram tho but i dont use it in the way people normaly use it. i never really post anything or watch anything. i just use it as an occasional messenger because sometimes when i am outside and someone wants to hang out later for example, people rarely give away their phone number nowadays for some reason so for that moment its a neccesary evil to temporarily chat on insta later and that way i dont see it as social media for me. i might check messages once a week and thats about it. something huge i want to mention here, that i would add to the ''social media'' list to quit is reddit. that was actually a huge one for me. reddit is probably the most toxic community there is on the entire internet. like literally 99% of the people on reddit are absolute ******** ` and for finding informations on certain topics, you can swap that out with some good old topic related web forums you can ask questions.

Thanks God you made a video like this, which goes against the "do school, become a slave-worker, have wife, do family, die in asylum" thingy, it'll actually separate the people that really watch your content from the people that scroll all day over "motivational speechs" hoping that one day they'll get the golden answer. This method would not work if you don't have a bunch of alternatives, for eg even if you delete all the apps and all, but then you left with nothing "interesting" to do, you will go back to here, so try to have actual "interesting" alternatives as well

I’m glad your parents are letting you take the HiSet test and go to community college (I was trying to take the CHSPE, which I think was the same thing just renamed). Not everybody has their family’s support. People might not support you online, but your environment with real people you actually know matters so much more.

Tbh if you feel called to this I believe you should, the American school system is so shit istg so I don’t even blame you. And you still get education, the main point for everyone’s lives. And I think it’s probably better than high school, but be responsible and actually try and learn despite being demotivated. Also I think I had heard about this transfer thing before about how you can transfer from community college to a better college and what not. But well my two cents on this is that I hope you can expand those parts of your life you could not have when in high school. Good luck :)

i dropped out the second i turned 17 when i lived in Maine and got a GED a month after i dropped out. skipped 2 n a half years. Live in NYC doing Real Estate now.
