Hey doctor, come back to India.. Indian people really needs you more than those western countries 😢.
Hello this is Elna I’m interested in upcoming practice thanks for sharing
Very useful information to know 👍🏾 Thank you

I wonder who invented the word kid and who deleted the word child. I wonder could it ever be reversed. I would be very pleased if it could be reversed. Why was the word child not acceptable I wonder.
Psychiatrists are cruel full stop. Forcing their life destroying medications on to people. Beware!
Horrible sound! Can not listen to this What a Shame😬😬😬
When I see a parent(s) just being selfish and never considering their children I feel great sadness for the child. The odds are definitely then stacked against them. The only chance you have at a normal life is obviously up to how well your parents are prepared to raise you. I have seen a scant few parents who are willing and able for the rigors of raising children. They're either not fit financially, emotionally, physically, ment ally or a combination of all the aforementioned. When people are struggling the very last thing in the world you need is to bring an innocent child into the world. I've seen people who are hanging on by a thread financially and they'll go out and have children. Then, they become a burden on society, their extended families and the government. Not to mention it's not fair to the child to be raised in an environment like that. Personal responsibility is important in life if you want to have a real life. Just because you want kids doesn't mean you can have one. Honest to God, my neighbor told me the reason she wanted to have a baby was to see what it felt like to have one. I was floored to say the least. There really are so many men tal ly ill people wandering around untreated. Tragic is what it is
Here's a perfect opportunity for me to do as the video suggests and practice gratitude for my well-being. I was a very grateful patient/client of Dr Nishi's for several years and I cannot recommend her enough. By far the most grounded, thoughtful, innovative, and frankly SMART mental health professional I've ever worked with. THANK YOU, DR NISHI! And thanks too to Dr Couture for this effective description of the practice of gratitude.
Oh my goodness, thank you for sharing this! 🙏
Happy juice helps! @plantbasedsobriety22

I applaud both of you for being ahead of your peers. Especially Dr. Giordano for listening to your patients. How extraordinary. Considering how long it can take to taper safely, it took me 5 years to taper off Cymbalta 60 mgs, and I almost died from command hallucinations to kill myself and then I got akathisia which was so horrific I had a plan to kill myself. I was extraordinarily lucky that late reinstatement worked to heal the akathisia in 3 months and then I proceeded with a much slower taper. I became a moderator for the group Cymbalta Hurts Worse after my ordeal of getting delayed withdrawals. I wanted to help prevent anyone else from going through what I went through. Considering how incredibly difficult it can be for many to taper, and also the fact that some people simply cannot taper at all. No matter how slowly they taper the withdrawals are so severe they cannot get off the drug…and the fact that a person can do a safe taper, not get any withdrawals while tapering warning them they are going too fast and then get hit with horrific delayed withdrawals when reinstatement often doesn’t work….considering these facts, if I were a doctor I would not prescribe these meds unless it was an absolutely dire situation where a person was in a life threatening situation where no other interventions have worked. Psych drugs should be the last resort. One major problem is therapy, which should be the first thing tried when people are overwhelmed with grief or stress, is expensive and often not available. And really good therapists are few and far between. In my 67 years of having seen probably at least 30 therapists during my life, only 1 was a really skilled outstanding therapist and 2 were good enough. The others were useless or actually offensive. Psychologists being some of the worst as compared to masters level. I just wish I heard you be more condemning of these drugs now that you know how horrific the withdrawals can be. Too many peoples’ lives are being destroyed and lost to prescribed harm because of protracted withdrawals that can last years and suicide. And what an unnecessary senseless loss of lives. (I am a licensed clinical social worker and was a therapist for 28 years. My experiences being a psychotherapy client taught me how to be a therapist. My clients told me I was the best therapist they ever had).

Psychiatry is that one sliver in the medical community that need to die off, it's so dangerous I can't think of a more dangerous practice. It's how slimmy and cut throat they are. This isn't coming from a place of hatred it's coming from experience and opinions from psychologists. My uncle and my little brother are psychologist and they refuse to acknowledge psychiatry as a safe practice. It's the way they lie, Any psychiatrist who lies to patients about the chemical imbalance needs to lose their licence as they're admiting not only of believing in a broken hypothesis which was abandoned by the medical community but they're actively blaming the patient to make a life long customer off medications which brings me to the topic of discussion... Medications like Antidepressants (SSRI/SNRI) along with benzodiazepines... Holy crap so dangerous and no, the danger is happening to everyday people who don't abuse these meds. How are we giving medications we don't fully understand? Which has no more then 3 months worth of research, don't understand how to get patients off without hurting them? Psychiatry is a pseudoscience at best. If I created a medication and said "Hey, Got this new drug, don't know how it works and I don't know what nervous system altering effects that shrinks the brain and injures the nervous system... Worse, this medication will lose it's effects causing either more of the drug or another drug added... Would you take it? Again we have no research showing safety, effectiveness and improvement outside of anecdotal reports and epidemiological and observational yet we are handing these out like candy... Then psychiatrists have the nerve to say "We're not handing these out like candy, if they help the patient then"... 😳 Really... Help them now, abandon them when the drug destroys their nervous system both CNS and PNS and or tell them that its just their original mental issues comimg back worse when the body experiences serious and extreme symptoms.. Crazy They diagnose you within 5 minutes inorder to code you so they can bill your insurance, then get you dependent on the worst medications ever made and diagnose you some more using the DSM-5-rt which is controversial for a reason... Unproven by literally all standards as diagnoses are just voted in, then again they either pass you off to other doctors or they victim blame and leave you. A psychologist on the other hand, now that's where the magic happens 😁
Now there is a growing body of research on the microbiome, gut health, nutrition, supplements, lifestyle, and other integrative practices for treatment and prevention. That's what we focus on in our practice, truly a whole-body, integrative approach to mental health that focuses on all of those aspects, including psychology, coping skills, community, nature, and social connection, etc. in order to help minimize the use of medications, which we agree are overprescribed and feeds into the culture of a "pill for every ill". However, an integrative approach can be life changing - and life saving! - for people. Hopefully the psychologists you know are willing to work with integrative trained psychiatrists so that their patients can get a fully holistic approach to care. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, we know a lot of people feel this way.
