I love this song and have been looking for a beautifully sung cover for a couple of years. THANK you so much for this!!! You must have a magic guitar. Decades ago, Chuck Alger did the most beautiful version of Poncho and Lefty on Simply Folk. He told me he sang it in C instead of the way Willy Nelson sang it. He also sang it much faster with such sadness in his voice. I think you could match the beauty of his version, if you would be willing to try it, I would be very grateful.
