I am now a household of one, and one cat. I try to keep it to around $30 p.w. including toiletries for me, and $10 for the cat, including cat litter, litter tray liners, wet food, and dry food. Her dry food is the Hills Science Diet (as per vet's advice), which costs round $72 for 4kg. That lasts around 3 months. It's getting harder. I mostly buy ingredients, rather than any ready made or prepared foods, although I do have some tinned items, like tuna. I make my own bread (65c per loaf). I don't have to cater for other people's tastes or wants, which must increase the grocery budget for families. My one vice is coffee, and I buy the pods from Aldi. I prefer to shop at Aldi, but do get some items they don't stock from Woolies - but only when they are on special. I like to see what other families buy, especially those with school age kids. I enjoyed your video, thank you, and have subscribed. 😃
