Deere head aint nowhere close to Macdon . Especially when it comes to working on them which you will have to do . Such as bearings ,replacing guards and blades are night and day easier. And for sure replacing the belts. You just have to have each to know. I ran and help rebuild my cousins 640d and i was pissed off the whole time . Some shit was just ridiculous on the deere. Plus the macdon reel is leaps and bounds mo better.

You do what you need to and Have to D. Personally, it doesn't matter to me whether you are trucking or farming or repairing, or whatever. I understand your life changed drastically last year and you have had to rearrange your priorities. Family (especially kids) comes first. You take care of them above everything else. OK D, obviously you do what you want to with your truck(s). But my opinion, if it were me, I would put my exhaust stacks behind the cab the way your current single stack is mounted. with tips turned out to the sides and just tall enough so that the exhaust smoke/soot does not blow onto the nose of your trailer and turn it black. Glad you got that hand bandaged up good. DANG! that's crazy, your lug studs breaking like that. I mean, I know they tell you to go around & retorque them every now & then. But I never have. And I've never really had one loosen up after I put it on good & tight. You got 2 tickets!?!? What for??!
