Lego Saturn V Full Build Timelapse
Lego Ideas #017 turned into the whopping 1 meter long NASA Apollo Saturn V rocket, complete with Lunar Module and separate splashdown Command Module.
This is the original Lego Saturn V kit #21309. The kit has been rereleased with a single change as kit #92176.
Total build time was 5.5h and the timelapse is shot at one frame every two seconds, so a minute becomes a second and an hour a minute for the final video.

    How much does 3.5 cups of uncooked white rice weigh in grams?

    • @TodayIMade
      @TodayIMade 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The standard rice cup is 180ml and that amount of white rice weighs just about 150g. So 3.5 times that is 525g.

    • @TodayIMade
      @TodayIMade 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      And to give a slightly better, but unfortunately less satisfying answer, depending on your rice of choice that 180ml can weigh anywhere between 150-200g, meaning 525 on up to 700g for the 3.5 cups.

      I also have the Sakura (larger, slightly more advanced features) and I use both. It really depends on how much rice you want to cook at once. The Panda can cook 1-3 portions and the Sakura is 2-8, so just choose the one that is big enough for the people you're serving.

      I prefer the interface on the Panda personally, and the fact that it takes up very little room. But if I have guests over, or want to use the slow cooker functions, then I usually reach for my Sakura.

    why are you spinning the filament? why do you need to add material? you have plenty of material, I would like you could just spin a flat metal shank...it would spin true & not be consumable. am I missing something? Alright now I am curious, I'm gonna go try it.

    • @TodayIMade
      @TodayIMade 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was filling a gap between the two parts there, making a welded seam - if I had just melted the existing material with a heat source, I would just be distorting the parts and probably not making an actual weld.

      @TodayIMade 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What I love about these sets is that it's really all made with what are now "standard pieces" - back in the late 90's and early 00's Lego was very heavy on making a lot of new pieces for every new set they came out with... That binds the person playing with them to really only make that one thing, whereas I always enjoyed making my own creations. Of course, these "adult lego" sets aren't probably ever ending up as pieces in a big ol' box for someone to be creative with. Not with how much they cost!

    Great tip! This might be a good suggestion for about anyone. I know I've seen a difference in print quality by rotating prints on at least a couple of my printers.

      Any printer that uses the same motors and drivers as Ultimaker's will have this issue, I am sure. And probably a number of other designs as well, but since I don't have enpirical evidence, I hesitate to make grand claims! ;)

      Today I Made So here's the big question - is this caused by the stepper motors, the stepper drivers, or a combination of the two? That could be a fun experiment to test someday!

      It's the drivers that cause the issue. There are some workarounds that involve a bit of creative soldering or some added chips, but these cause some heat issues, so it's not a perfect world.

    Hello, came from the Stream (toms 3d). I really like this idea and I think it’ll be popular. I’m very surprised as to the video quality that you have based on your subscribers.

      Many thanks for the comment! I've only got two videos out so far, so I am hoping the low sub count is based on just the fact that not many people have seen the videos yet! - I got some new lights to try to further improve the quality, and I'm constantly learning more about video editing as I do this.
