Travel Changed My Life....
มุมมอง 3252 ปีที่แล้ว
Choices are made daily, some small and mundane, others can completely change the direction of your life. We are constantly told to follow the beaten path, to take the safest route. While that may be the path you crave and desire, than by all means go for it! But many people only follow that path because of fear and complacency. I was in the category of following a path due to fear and complacen...

More satisfying is arriving in Finisterre, walking up to the lighthouse, sitting on the rocks nearby & watching the sunsetting into the ocean.
Girls are always hungry or cold.
I totally agree thé second and last point !! Beautiful video
Thanks for sharing your experience on the El Camino
This city is magical! Great video
Edinburgh................is a dream rather than a city..........in every aspect, the architecture, the people, the weather and the vibe
Im from in indonesia..I really like Edinburgh ❤And hope to be able to go there once
Thanks for sharing, great words of wisdom. 😊
Great perspectives thank you
Good vid but plz dont call it "edin-borough"
I’m occasionally hearing Edinburro
Edinboro? You live in Edinburgh.
I had been to the Camino 5times. I am going again next week for 30 days from Burgos to Santiago de Compostela. It keeps calling me back. I agree that we reflect on the past and try to throw away the thoughts from our head. It is so therapeutic.
Yea I definitely will need to do it again at some point in my life! Enjoy your time! We loved Burgos, there was a really cool museum about ancient history in Burgos, highly recommend!
I'm have a gluten free AND yeast free diet. How difficult would it be managing my diet (access to places serving food i could eat etc) if I attempted to walk the Camino
Ehh we had some issues with the food 😂 alot of times there were strictly very few options in some of the towns we stayed in. I'd say MOST places you could probably find gluten free and yeast free, but the really small villages maybe not so much. Do you like meat? If so then you probably won't have any issues! There is plenty of meat everywhere
As a Scot, who is very proud of his country, I'd like to thank you for this affectionate look at Edinburgh. I used to work in the Canongate (part of the Royal Mile). Even though I was there 5 days a week and everything was familiar to me, every lunchtime I would just walk up and down gazing around me and thanking my lucky stars that I lived and worked in such a stunning city.
Hey I'm really glad you enjoyed! That was a special time in my life and feels almost like a dream, I hope to make it back to the UK someday and experience Edinburgh again. This time I'll pronounce Edinburgh the proper way as well 😎
This video is so inspiring! I also walked the Camino and captured it on video. Check out my channel to see my journey!
Bro said Edinbro
Its Edinbruh
I know 😂 back then ol Ebright Explores butcherd the name, I'm now much more cultured, I'll get it right whenever I come back 😎
Loved this! We just deiced to hike the Camino this summer! Most excited for the presence!
the food is expensive
Not unless you shop at CO-OP 😂
My daughter will be doing the coming trail leaving from Denver Co on Saturday the 13th of April 2024. You are so inspiring and I hope she has the same experiences that you had. Your video is amazing. God bless you.
Aww that's so good to hear! I'm glad this video is still reaching the world, this was a very special part of my life, I hope to do the Camino again one day, and I hope your daughter has a buen Camino!
Really enjoyrd
Welcome. I hope you enjoy being in Tunisia. Live a sweet Life
Wow, love this. So, in love with Edinburgh! Thanks for posting🌼
Really glad you enjoyed!
Any suggestions moving from England to Edinburgh? I would love that. Thanks.
Well it's much easier for you to do that then me as an American 😂 I'm sure though you can find a way to make it happen!
You communicated your lessons learned very well.
Why does he pronounce it like “Edinburough?”
I was uncultured back then 😢
Yes, Edin-bow-row is nice.
😂😂😂 it's Edinbro right?
@@EbrightExplores Not even close.
Sitting in a park with a beer is illegal. Good to see resistance though.
Back in my rebel days 💀
A really nice video. There's an old saying that the best thing to come out of Edinburgh is the train to Glasgow. (Said mostly by Glaswegians of course)
I too love Edinburgh.
Love your video!
I want to do this path.....
American living in edinburgh since 1987. Never looked back. Don’t forget the amazing pubs, live music, and incredible festivals!
Teuchters pub steak pie 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
People living in Edinburgh are so lucky, they are only 45 minutes away from Glasgow
😂
Beautiful. This is a great summary. thank you for sharing.
Well done mate, lots of this resonated with me. All the very best.
Great video! Was thinking of Edinburgh as a potential future place to live and that video is making me love that idea even more! If you have any tips for moving to Edinburgh from England feel free to share
Taking the Camino is a unique and transformative experience. Keep up your videos!
Loved loved loved your filmmaking! Also so informative. Masterpiece!
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed 🙏
Great video - thank you! More reasons to be excited to walking the Camino!
Why do Americans always insist on saying Edinburo! It’s Edinburgh
Why do Scots insist on being such chippy little easily offended weirdos? Stop embarrassing us ffs!
Hello from Scotland Mountains in Edinburgh? Edinboro? WTF? I’m amazed you have made a video but can’t pronounce the place name
Lighten up fella. It’s a guy from overseas showing some fine appreciation of my home city in a beautiful little video and you’re giving it the wtf and boring edinboro whine? Don’t embarrass us please.

Late comment, life's been pretty crazy for ol Ebright Explores, I apologize for butchering the name, I can say it properly now 😉 and yep ol Arthur's seat was a fine mountain in my eyes 😍
Beautiful images and helpful insight. You said that you walked the Camino in Oct and Nov. Can you tell me if that was early Oct or later? What was the weather like? I will do the Camino Frances, starting in mid-September through the end of October... Thank you for sharing your experience!
Loved this! Really solidified by plan to move to Edinburgh!
Sublime 🌹
Just came across your video (which by the way, is beautifully shot and edited), looking for a sign to also make the move. And then right at 2:59 I see my own home, Queen City! If that's not a sign then I don't know what is haha
Hahaha how cool!! Sounds like you definitely found your sign ✈️
Lovely video! By the way, it's Edin-bruh, not Edin-burrow ;-)
No, it's Embra
No it's Edin-bu-ruh. 4 syllables. "Burgh" is pronounced buhruh. Trust me I'm Scottish!
Love this video, had to go back and rewatch!
Spot on!
Beautiful but very expensive, we mostly ate soup and bread, but must say we are from South Africa , paying in pounds is hard😢
I would think South Africa is more expensive for some reason 😅😂
