@@alirezamalekahmadi3435 I noticed that too. I believe it was because the reflection of the light in my glasses blocked my eye temporarily. And since I’m using eye autofocus it lost focus for a split second. That and I was shooting wide open at 1.4 so the DOF was very shallow. But I agree for the price I thought it was gonna be more sticky

@CAMphotography_ if the cause is the reflection, we can overcome the issue by using a CPL filter

@@diegodominguez205 I use the Godox X2T. But there’s a pro trigger also. It’s really up to you. I can’t reasonably recommend anything outside of the x2t because that’s the only one I’ve used. But it’s great

Thanks for the comment. This video was made based on my own experiences of a guy who works from home and the ability to function in a space as a video editor and content creator. If my experience is not everyone else’s that doesn’t mean I’m wrong lol. That’s just not my experience

@@altaircreed9383 depends on what you use it for. If you’re a hobbyist or travel photographer this sigma works. I just don’t believe it’s up to par for weddings and other high paying photography. But for video it’s fine. I’d look at the new sigma primes released. They’ll be shipping Dec 12

Disagree - it is very sharp, great colours, and good contrast - even wide open. Yes - there is much distortion, but it's well corrected. A great and very versatile lens. I will go for it especially for it's excellent autofocus - very important in photography (low light) as in videography.

@@MANGEKYOLOL there isn’t too much of a difference tbh. You’re able to crop a bit more on the r7 since it’s higher MP but the colors and quality are pretty much the same. R8 and r7 either or are good decisions. Just keep in mind r8 is full frame so better in lowlight but smaller battery and 1 sd slot. R7 bigger battery. Same as r5 and r6 and 2 sd slot

Its shocking how close they are. Either the 1.8 is a lot better than people think or the 1.4 isnt made as well as we thought

@@MosleydollMUA I’ve heard ALOT of good things about the new 28-70 2.8 stm. It does have that thing where you have to extend it befor you can start shooting which is pretty annoying. But as far as image quality it’s reallllly good for a contemporary lens. And it’s weather sealed. I think it’s a good lens for the price

@ that all depends on what you’re shooting. If you think you’ll be in tight spaces a lot look elsewhere but if you’re just out in the open it may not be the end of the world.

@CAMphotography_ it's much better than cx. Cx100 has maximum lux of around 4000 while ml100bi can go upto 34,000 lux which means during weddings, you can have it far away from the subject and still light them perfectly.

@ good to know. But like I said in this video I wouldn’t recommend this cx100 for much outside of studio setups for TH-cam or talking head. I’d get something else for corporate or commercial work

@@CAMphotography_ Well I'm surprised considering this video, nothing canon is doing lately is win worthy, 3.5K for a 70-200, 3K for a 100-500, 10K for a 100-300, 7K for a 24mp stacked camera, 5.8K for a first gen version of it, stupidly overpriced flash systems, overpriced prime lenses which don't work well with extenders, need I go on?

@ well the thing about TH-cam is that videos are subjective to the creator. Everything they just did works out perfectly for me personally in my field of creativity. Are most of canons products overpriced? Sure. Am I bummed they don’t do 3rd party glass? Of course? But for my field of what I do are the new releases like these lenses making me do backflips? Also yes

@@SayWhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat v860iii is a great flash. As a person that’s used both I prefer the v1 because of the round head giving more even flash distribution. There v1 pro tailors to a specific niche that I don’t feel I’m in

@@Deleoduwole it depends on the recycle time. If you’re shooting full power it takes longer to recycle than if you’re shooting at a lower power

@@Deleoduwole Misfires can be recycle related or a hotshoe connection issue. Make sure your V1 is seated in the hotshoe correctly - best read up on that issue depending on the camera brand you have. Also, with Canon, make sure Silent LV Shoot is off. With Sony: disable EFCS, disable silent shutter, disable Wireless Flash, enable Fill Flash... to name a few. Nikon is similar.

@@hajor798 it’s hard for me to recommend a rumored camera because it’s just that. A rumor. I’ve been using the r6 ii for the last few weeks and I will always recommend that camera for the price and for how it performs. Of course an even better camera for lowlight photography would be a camera will a backside illumated sensor or stacked sensor which has better lowlight performance. So with what you’re needing I 100% recommend the r6 ii

Hey CAM. Great video. Side note, so sad to see such a great channel has a small following. But nonetheless, I hope you blow up soon. Back to the topic. I'm based in South Africa, and due to our diverse cultures, its kinda almost impossible to do a first look, let alone suggest it to a couple. Unfortunately many still believe in that hideous superstition of not seeing the bride before the wedding. But also, another drawback is that in most cultures, the bride is often "locked" away or isolated indoors in particular room prior to the wedding. And she's allowed out up until she's about to walk down the aisle or go the church or whatever. So meaning that as a photographer, you won't be able to shoot the bride outdoors until she is officially allowed to go outside just before the ceremony. But keep in mind that this may vary from culture to culture, or family to family. And in more progressive couples, I have managed to convince them to try having a first look, but more often than not, it would cancelled due to either time constraints (i.e running late) and/or some other interferences from other family members or someone important. Also keep in mind that in most black African weddings, there's also the complicated logistics of having to move between the bride's home and the church and the reception venue all in short space of time. And because of the issue running late, the bride often panics and ends up writing off the first look. So yeah, unfortunately in our corner of the planet, first looks are still a foreign concept thats quite difficult to implement irregardless of whether the couple wants to or not.

I’m a traditional American wedding photographer so sometimes it is that the bride is in a room until she’s about to walk down the aisle but other times it’s planned to go out and do a first look and some pre ceremony pictures.
