I am 45 and have been shaving for more than 25 years. Harry's is the only brand that works. I was using the Gillette Fusion since 2006 and switched to Harry's about a month ago. Harry's is 1/2 the price and way better than the Fusion. I recommend using the Harry's razor with the Harry's shave gel.

I don't see what you are talking about, I was just outside in the snow no hat on my shaved bald head and wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt. I didn't think it was bad at all.

Too many moving parts and broke within 3 months. I went back to my good ole' trusty van der hagen safety razor for my headshaves.

for those watching this video as of 2024 and onward in the states you can now find dr. squatch stuff in Target and Walmart. and i want to add that the shipping times seem to have improved since the pandemic has passed.

This is an interesting approach and I will keep it in mind. I shaved my head a few times before but I am considering on embracing it and become bald by choice without growing my hair back for a longer period of time. I like your content so I sub :)

I've had one of these for over a year they're pretty good but seriously need to be made better! Cleaning the lame fucking heads are so annoying and 2 of mine fall off every time!!!!!! Why not make with better materials than shitty plastic?!?!?! Yawn..........

Right on brother, I knicked myself a lot doing this so I started using the pitbull shaver. It’s not as close but pretty darn close, and beats the knicks.

I felt the same way about the deodorant. Didn’t last long. I swipe up and down a lot and I heard that 2-3 light swipes will do. But you’re right. The bar of soap I tried also didn’t seem to last very long.

Their soap is a soft soap that is why it lasts so short. They would need to cure it longer to get mileage

This will cut you no doubt unless you have a perfectly even and uniform scalp with no moles etc. Best way to shave for me is Braun serise 9 then get leftovers with a gillete fusion. Trust me

Also which do you think is better their single blade razor or their triple ?

I got really sensitive skin and struggle with like razor bumps a lot. Do you think this would be good for like body hair? Because I've tried you know electric body shavers but it just gives me skin irritation. They say the best thing for body hair if you have sensitive skin is a safety razor

I just bought one it is the best by far that I have ever used along with the Nivea gel shaving cream.

Try using a safety racer the blades cost less and work better

Its different strokes for different folks. Harry’s never worked for me. Always gave me a skin rash and the blade gets dull quicker. Even the cheapest Gillette works better than Harrys.

Gillette is being ridiculous with pricing values. I had a GilletteLabs X Razer edition but became dull but heck no I’m not spending $30 for a 4 pack of blades. I made the switch to Harry’s and the 4 pack of cartridges are $8-10 bucks at Target. I got the Chrome edition and it’s a great razor. With the precision trimmer on the back, you gotta be careful, because it’s a bit sharper than Gillette’s. I nicked my middle nose area a few times while shaping up my mustache but since then I haven’t gotten anymore nicks. Don’t press too hard with the Harry’s either. Let it do the work.

I am showering every other day, unless actives deem a daily showering. My bars have been lasting me 2 to 4 weeks. I am also using a silicone soap scrubber as well.

I've been using Doc Squatch for about 5 years now, totally agree. Thinking of switching over to Right Wing Naturals.

I’ve been wet shaving for 10+ years, I’ve tried various razors over the years with varying results, I still haven’t found the perfect razor or shave, however some come close. Although I am totally intrigued by this it seems a bit much (I do love the look and would love to try it) but, if you’re gonna use a three blade why not just go back to the Mach 3 or something similar, it would be less bulky and less trouble (and less expensive I would assume) with just as good of a shave. That being said, I’m looking into this more because my stupid ass will probably go against everything I’ve just said and end up buying it, I’m still sitting on a Wunderbar Slant that rips my face apart and try it from time to time expecting a different result, I never claimed to be practical.

It’s weak and the scent is barely there

One who can shave his face with a safety razor can shave his head. Trick? Some parts you can see in the one mirror; and the parts you cannot see you handle by memory and finger-feel on the scalp.

Recommendation: Try a mild double edge razor to do a head shave. Fewer blades in each stroke, and less irritation. Just be aware - press lightly; not as hard as if for using cartridge or disposable.

Recommendation: Buy a very low quantity of high quality cartridge OR disposable razors, and inexpensive shave brush and inexpensive (yes there are some) shaving soap. Use these for head-shaves; but if you go several days between head shaves, an inexpensive electric hair clipper will also be important for efficiency. Some people may want to avoid the subscription services. The razors (disposables): If you take good maintenance care of the head after each shave, each razor head should be able to allow for more than ten shaves. I have not gone through a cost estimate of all this recently.
