      It's one of our favorites. I believe I originally started this perennial from proven winners, though search "filipendula" and hopefully a local nursery has it. The stages of bloom for this one make is a beautiful winner in a cut flower garden! We'd love to have you join us in our free Cut Flower Gardening skool community and we could follow your garden as well. www.skool.com/beehaven-flower-farm/about

    What raspberries varieties do you use? The ones we have all have thorns.

    • @beehavenflowerfarm
      @beehavenflowerfarm 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately, I do not have that information. It is a raspberry that was on the place that I bought and I just kept digging it up and propagating it that way. But any thornless raspberry works and that is what you are looking for, thornless.

  • @beehavenflowerfarm
    @beehavenflowerfarm 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yes, it’s possible! I use a 5 shelf metal rack with wheels and utilize the shelves AND the lights. The vertical shelves allow for many more seedlings and save space. You can get A LOT in a 4’x2’ space. Let’s break this down: if you start 20 trays, and you’re using 200’s, that’s 4,000 seedlings. Seriously! This became essential as I grew so many seedlings. The lights keep them warm just as well as heat mats. As soon as the seeds have sprouted I move them under the lights, and I’ll start the second round of seeds. This method has worked so well, allows me to grow in a smaller space, and is more economical- saving the initial investment of heat mats as well as reducing the electrical bill.

      It's easy to get out of control when you start having success. It can really be satisfying. to and dream of all that is possible. Start with one adventure (market), fine-tune it, and then evaluate. How does it feel? How is it working into your life?

    I don’t just garden for the product but I garden mainly for the fun and adventure built into the daily tasks. Everyday I’ll do something new with my front yard garden. Got rid of the grass when I moved in and then have planted 30+ fruit trees, dug a turtle/koi pond and have not started to plan out the walkways around everything. Can’t wait for 2025!! Should be the year of success with the everything all grown and strong rooted
