Prusa i3 MK3 Marithon Power Loss Test
I work out at sea, and it was time to go back to work. So decided to test the Prusa i3 MK3 power loss protection. I unplugged my printer as I was going out the door to the airport, and 86 days later I plugged it back in!
Works like a charm!

DJI Inspire camera/gimbal twitch

Just a video of the twitch my Inspire has developed. Just posted it so that I can use the TH-cam link in a forum posting my problem. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
RC Day at the Museum of Flight
มุมมอง 1738 ปีที่แล้ว
It was RC Model day at the Boeing Museum of Flight, Seattle Washington. So I had to take the opportunity make this video. In the video you will see my FMS P-51 Red Tail Mustang. It's the one that says "Bunnie" on the side of it. This video was filmed using the DJI Osmo steady cam, at a resolution of 4K The song is "Angel Flight", performed by Radney Foster and the Confessions.
DJI RC Tablet Holder Modification
มุมมอง 1758 ปีที่แล้ว
My easy modification to the DJI transmitter smart device holder. This is for those of us that use the larger tablets, the weight of the tablet will sometimes cause the holder to fall back obstructing the antannas. This modification helps to hold the heavier tablets up.
The Beautiful Cascade Mountains
มุมมอง 1508 ปีที่แล้ว
Just a short video of parts of the Cascade Mountains in Washington state. The first part of the video is from the Snoqualmie Park, near Snoqualmie pass. The rest of the video is of the White River, and finally a small shot of Mt Rainier. This was filmed using the DJI Inspire 1 V2
Demonstrating how the DJI Inspire can fly autonomously to club members.
มุมมอง 958 ปีที่แล้ว
Demonstrating the autonomous flight features of the DJI inspire 1 quad copter. This flight was done fully autonomous from start to finish. I have edited the video to just show the fly in and fly out shots. It does not show the auto takeoff, and return to home landing. Nothing major about this video, just wanted to show friends and family.
Litchi Waypoint Testing
มุมมอง 688 ปีที่แล้ว
This is just a video that I did while testing how the Way Point System works with the Litchi app. I was flying this with my DJI Inspire 1 V2. Nothing special, just doing a test flight. Sorry, but there is no sound. I am posting this purely to show friends.
Second Flight of my FMS 1700mm Red Tail Mustang
มุมมอง 2398 ปีที่แล้ว
This was the second flight, I noticed that I needed to make some control adjustments, nothing major and an easy adjustment. She's a beautiful bird, can't wait to get more flights in with it.
FMS 1700mm P-51 Red Tail Mustang Maiden Flight
มุมมอง 2.5K8 ปีที่แล้ว
After weeks of frustration, and repairs before even getting the chance to fly, I finally got the chance to maiden my FMS 1700mm P-51 Red Tail Mustang. And she flies like big Cadillac! The last couple of weeks tinkering with this thing, and replacing the faulty retractable landing gear paid off!!
F550 Small size Alloy Metal-Multi Rotor Electric RetractSystem Installation.
มุมมอง 1.4K10 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a video of how I installed the Hobby King Small size Alloy Metal-Multi Rotor Electric RetractSystem on my DJI Flame Wheel F550. The installation was fairly simple, and I didn't have to do any sort of drilling into the frame. Though that is an option especially if your just putting your Multi-Rotor together. If your installing these retracts on a different model this video might also hel...

DJI 2.4ghz Ipad Ground Station Maiden Flight
มุมมอง 34110 ปีที่แล้ว
I finally received the DJI 2.4ghz Ipad Ground Station unit, and got it installed. I was able to do my first flight with it this morning, and I'm happy to announce that it was a success. I was a little worried about having my F550 flying all by itself, even though I knew I could take control at any time. Not quite sure what I'll use this option for yet, but it's nice knowing that I now have the ...
Important Spektrum Transmitter Repair Tip
มุมมอง 17K10 ปีที่แล้ว
I discovered this repair tip while replacing my antenna on my Spektrum DX8 transmitter. Thought I would make this quick little video to pass the word about what to look for when putting the back panel on during reassembly. I had developed an issue where I had no control of any of the channels after I had reassembled the transmitter, but would regain control once I removed the back panel. I call...

Amazing helicopter. Any still flying today in 2024?
“I can’t see this plane at all on the screen, I hope I’m getting it” *proceeds to get great footage* haha
LOL, sorry, only camera I had all those years ago was a little Sony digital camera. Thanks for commenting though, it brought back some cool memories watching this video again. 😁
I flew over Newfoundland as a passenger when stationed at Ernest Harmon AFB 1964 AND PHOTOGRAPHED MY FLIGHT, in the Huskie. A buddy was the crew chief!
That’s awesome! I was the one who originally uploaded this video, this is my second account. I think the Huskie is a cool helicopter. When I took this video I was under the impression that it was the last flyable one in existence but if you read through the comments you will see that there are more still flying.
That's amazing! 😲 Wouldn't likely work with PETG, still very much impressive!!
LOL, thanks, I forgot about this video. 😁

My dad's lieutenant said it looked like two seagulls fornicating in mid-air. 633 tactical Fighter Wing denang. These things we do That Others May Live!!!
I thank your father for his service, and now that you mentioned it. It does look like two seagulls fornicating! LOL.
Nicely Captured 👍
You is fabulous and fantastic
Hi have you wiring diagram of phoneix 0904 control? Thank you
Where down is up, and up's expensive.
Truly, an iconic helicopter ! Wonder why this synchropter configuration is not more widespread.
The only reason I can think of is maintenance maybe?
@@oldsalty3d122 Thanks for the reply ! Kaman and Lockheed actually claim that maintenance costs are lower for th K Max. For one, there are no hydraulics and there is no tail rotor and these 2 components increase complexity.
@@suresh1957 That's very interesting. Now you have my curiosity up as to why they stopped production. I'll have to do some research and see what I can find. If I find something I'll let you know.
That thing is real quiet.
Wicked vids. Helped me a ton after not touching this stuff for 7+yrs to have 2 boyz. Lol. Now we’re flying. 3 full builds in a week. 1 remaining. Blade 450 3D,Align 450 Pro’sx2,MCPX,
Where’s Dave Colman?
I was assigned to helicopters after pilot training in 1964. Was assigned to helicopters and trained in the H-19s, CH-21s, and then the HH-43s (Stead AFB near Reno, NV). Flew at MacDill AFB, FL; Nakhon Phanom, Thailand; Incirlick AB, Turkey; and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as pilot. The HH-43 was the only helicopter that the USAF had when SEA war came about. A big problem was it only had about a 90 nm operational radius. Here is a site that relates information about the HH-43 mission at Nakhon Phanom. These were the early days 1964-1965 combat rescue. www.ragay.nl/hh-43-sea/nkp
Good video..... Just looking at it from a Safety Standpoint, Iike to Remove my Prop or Disconnect the ESC and use a Separate BEC for Binding and Programming... Being a friend of Murphy and working in the Airline Industry for years, Safety is paramount. I know that Prop is not going to take off, but in the right failure, people can really get hurt.
Nice video, any trail in particular you loved?
Remember the Pedro while station at Clark AFB, Philippines, 1970; Corpsman, AFSC 90150
Also upgraded main blade grip and tail assembly to metal parts. Wish I would have done that the first time I replaced them. Those two things I've found will save time and money.
For me it's easier to take all fasteners out of frame take one half of bad frame off, replace with new half. Flip the copter over and replace the other half with the other new half. Easier for alignment and piece locations.
The only other country to fly these -- Iran..
Sorry bud but it was a bad vid, props for trying though..
I heard that they used these to train the k-max pilots since they're only single seaters? Apperantly not if there's only one.
At Kaman in Bloomfield Ct., still a “yellow school bus “ used as a trainer.
This isn't the last one in existence. There are a few privately owned . Whoever gave you that information is very very incorrect
Thanks for the information, and I have been informed by many others, including pilots of the HH43, that it's not the last one. =) It was the Museum in Olympia Washington that sponsored this air show, and they had made the announcement over the PA (might even be heard in this video) that it was the last one in existence. Glad this video is still being viewed and commented on. =)
I was stationed in Arizona in the 80's in the Air Force. I worked on UH-1's. I saw one of these once and since then. Helicopter wise, this is the coolest design to me. I can only imagine how much fun it is to put those twin rotors on one at a time. I'd have to think the machine had to be clamped down pretty hard after the first one was on to keep it from falling to the side. Either way, this video was awesome.
Got to fly in an HH-43 in 1965. Interesting chopper.
Don’t feel bad I been flying since I was 13 now I’m 45 and I did the same dam thing last weekend with my raptor 90
Ouch! Sorry to hear about your crash. And I didn't feel bad really, I knew if I threw some money at it, it would fly again, and it did, right before I sold it. =) Now I have the Blad 500, but I don't fly much anymore. FAA is making it a pain.
who owns this one?
I'm not sure if any one person own this Husky, but it is located at the Olympic Flight Museum in Olympia Washington.
my dad used to build these helicopters. I grew up playing in the HOK and H 43B's.. Charlie Kaman was a good friend of our family. My uncle all was with Charlie right from the start. Uncle Al started Kamatics charlies bearing company. When uncle al died Charlie came to the house with a fidelco guide dog for my aunt to keep her company. I have such great memories of this time. I wish I could take a ride in a H43b BEFORE I DIE.. IM 70 NOW...
I hope you get the chance to fly in one my friend. I'm so glad I uploaded this video, I love hearing from people who have a special connection to this helicopter. I even found out through people comments that this is not the last HH43. We were told at this air show that it was. It is truly a unique design, and one of my favorites. 😁
Oh, look. A flying shithouse (no offense intended).
I never noticed, but now that you mentioned it I can't NOT notice! LOL
the first time i saw one up close was at bitburg afb in 1965. it was an emergency medevac to wiesbaden
They were perfect for that. =) Sorry for the late response, TH-cam is just now sending me email letting me know of the comments to this video.
Was Crew Chief on HH43B Newfoundland and also Ubon Thailand and Danang RVN
Sorry for taking so long to reply, for some reason TH-cam just now sent me the notification. It's an honor to hear from an actual Crew Chief of an HH43B. I salute you sir! 😁
You answered my question! Thanks for the video and thank you Google!
Sorry for my delayed response. I'm glad my video helped you out. 😁
World war two German design,,,
Very low noises! May be it`s better that coaxial?
AAARHG i had the exact same crashes with my blade 4503d, then i equipped it with savöx servos and it was perfect to fly :D
The #36 was a sandbaggin his azz off.
That truly is an " egg beater " ( an old term for helocopter )
I believe the reason this was called and egg beater, was because the rotors are inter-meshing like the kitchen appliance. This aircraft and the Kmax are the only helicopters with this configuration. Never heard of conventional helicopters called egg beaters, but who knows.
The Navy needs such a helicopter to monitor enemy submarines and shoot them
X BUS port .... there is only one X BUS port . any other sensors are daisey chained into this one port ... 6 hours of searching .. good old rc groups
My dad was a firefighter and a PJ on one of these during Vietnam. I can't find his records anywhere. :(
I'm so glad I posted this video all those years ago. I've connected with so many people that have had experiences with this helicopter. It's a shame that you are unable to find any records of your fathers time in service.
My transmitter is bleeding what can I do
george gooden I would call a doctor! =P. Seriously though, didn't know a transmitter to could bleed. Could you be more spacific?
I crash my helicopter and spend hrs getting it ready to fly again
that sucks
I assembled a plastic model of one of these when I was twelve and I didn't do a very good job. In spite of that, Chip Blackman, the kid down the street stole it just before he move away, the twerp! This design must be very good because it's been around a long time. th-cam.com/video/cOP_-BcRMRY/w-d-xo.html Patent 3190554 .
Thanks for all the help...
QuestTech your welcome, glad the video series was helpful.
with out your videos it would be so hard I use to fly the blade nano cpx but have been flying the blade 200 srx Fixed pitch .this beast is FAST so learning curve is going to be FUN and costly for sure but I do LOVE heli and I do need to move on to CP..thanks again
I Just wanted to THANK YOU for these GREAT repair Videos I just got my Blade 450 3D and I had to do some repairs.Your videos was so helpful I cant THANK you enough
Your welcome. The Blade 450 was my first collective pitch helicopter, and it was a bit daunting when I first started to fix it after the crash (TH-cam video "Sad Day for the 450"), and I couldn't find any videos that explained any repairs. So decided to make my own. Glad they are still useful. =)
