Be careful of ticks for sure. I’ve done many a pipeline, or power line road. Some in my side by side and have felt like I might not get through and then I remember that at some point a crew in a bucket truck, or trailering a bulldozer came through.

Are you taking Hwy 11 along the Canadian border in Minnesota or will you be taking Hwy 2? There is an eagles nest along Hwy 11 along the Rainy River. You’re not suppose to stop in Cass Lake (town) on Hwy 2 as it is not safe. You’re also not suppose to travel into the Red Lake Native American lands unless you’re invited. Those lands are private property. Safe travels!!

Kaplan’s Woods in Owatonna was a place that we used to run for cross country practice. The Hormel nature center in Austin, is a similar park as the one that you’re exploring. But it has a nice new learning center. A place that we enjoy exploring now is Myre big Island State Park by Albert Lea Minnesota 😊

You've got the hang of the Pocket 3 really well! I just got it myself a few weeks back. Need to practise lots! One tip? Talk to the lens and not the screen. Other than that, good job.

How would this be with a tear drop? I will be watching these all the way through but thought I would ask.

As a content creator, I would think a 360 camera and drone would make the videos more enjoyable to watch. I know those two are on my wish list 😁 I was thinking if you threw some map clips in your videos too would be helpful for us watching to know to where you are at in the video and also it would be some fill- ins for your videos!

We have been confronted by homeowners when we’ve been out wildlife photographing (extended lens). Usually, after talking to people, they very much understand and have no problem. We also stay on public roads.

St. Croix is one of my favorite state parks. It’s sad so many of the trees got destroyed many years ago in a storm. I grew up camping at this park all the time and is one reason it’s my favorite. Banning is another nice state park to check out, not far from St. Croix.

You can always put a magnetic sign on the side of your door with your TY channel on it. I personally don't care, the worst they can do is call the cops. Who cant legally do anything. Why do people freak out. The Google car runs by most house every few years. No one cares about that.

I wish I had known you were coming I could have shown you some cool back roads, in Cannon Falls, Stanton, and Warsaw Townships. Lots of cool areas on the East side of Goodhue. I have ran most roads in Goodhue, Wabasha, Winona and Houston Counties. I was a LEO in Goodhue CO for 20 years.

This is awesome! I discovered the Rustic Roads earlier this year and since I have driven 41 of them (mostly in SE/NE Wisconsin). There's certainly a lot of duds, but plenty of gems like this one (the water crossings are cool though! I haven't run into that yet!). I recently bought a Subaru WRX and I've covered 18 of them in that (mostly ones I'd done before), and I'm looking forward to doing more! For anyone who happens across this, a lot of the Forest Service roads in Northern Wisconsin or along Highway 32, US 8, Highway 139, and State Road 70 in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest are far superior to a lot of the rustic roads, but definitely more challenging drives (and more likely to leave you without cell service)

Have you ever been to the Hormel nature center in Austin Mn? Lots of trails and an interactive learning center which is fun for kids! Great place to visit and while you’re there go to the free spam museum! 😁👍

If you get down to the New Ulm area check out county rd 10 west just south of the MN river on hwy 4. The route follows the southside MN river, many really old farm sites. It's a very quiet route west towards Franklin MN. The landscape changes as hit the paved hwy north to the other side of the river. Prairie with exposed granite starts in this area and goes west. On the north side of the MN river follow county 21 east to ft ridgely state park and back to New Ulm. It's approx 40 miles of river bottom , I really enjoy this route in the fall. I've tried it all and the only thing that works is a good old fashion snap trap and sticky traps. Check regular and keep them active with peanut butter.

Put containers around with Jiffy cornbread mix with baking soda, 1:1 ratio, add a spoon of sugar & mix well. You can use leftover berry containers, salad containers, just cut a small hole on one or two sides. Place them under your truck and inside it. You can use anything, leftover potato chip crumbs, dry cake mix, potato flakes, just mix it up with the baking soda. It doesn't allow them to burp and they croak. It won't hurt your pets. If you have no pets, use plaster of paris as it doesn't allow them to poop. Remember RODENTS are not your friend. My brother told his neighbor not to feed the birds due to the squirrels. They didn't listen. They had thousands of $$ in electrical damage as they moved into the attic of their house. They removed the bird feeder. I live in the country. I had $2200. in damage to my car from mice. It's a war. Bobcats, owls, hawks, coyote and anything that eats rodents are welcome. And they cause hantavirus.

Old fashioned snap traps. In the RV. In the garage. Get them before they set up house.

Detail the vehile to start. Emphasis on the engine bay and steam clean the interior. Carbon activatrd cabin air filter. Dont not eat or drink in the vehicle. Momier the the enfine and cabin fimters for mice.

So, you didn't offer any information. Just buy everything in the store, use them all on one vehicle, wait and see. Wow.

We live in the Sonoran Desert just outside of Phoenix AZ and pack rats are the problem here.... I finally got a tip to try this and it works and just freshen it up under the hood about every four months in a spray bottle. To make the a gallon of solution use 1/2 gallon of water to 1/2 gallon white vinegar then add about a tablespoon of 100% peppermint oil and shake well. pour some into a hand sprayer and liberally coat under the hood and if long term storage also open the hood about 12 inches to keep it from becoming a nice warm snuggly place to hang out. Try it.....works for me

I've been thinking this for a while now based on how there seems to be this one sided beef than non jeep owners have against jeep, while jeep owners seem to be busy enjoying their vehicles instead of worrying about other brands. I believe it comes down to jeeps just straight up being more fun to drive off-road overall. Sure there's faster off-road vehicles or ones that are better all-rounders when you factor in street driving but in terms of being built from the ground up to take on the rough stuff, no brand does is better. Add in the mountains of aftermarket gear, ease of modification, and removable body panels. You got yourself a fun mobile on wheels.
