Remember when Crocus said that the Rumbar pirates abandoned Laboon and left the Grand Line? It's technically half correct because half of the crew along with Yorkie got infected by a disease forcing them to leave the Grand Line! 😢 But Crocus didn't know that the half of the crew led by Brook stayed and continued their journey to keep their promise to Laboon. But when Crocus set out to find them they were long dead and Brook was already drifting in the Florian Triangle! 😭

And here we are, for my money Brook's backstory is the worst. Saddest most awful thing. Cant even watch the episodes on mute without crying it's a shame, because Binks Sake is a damn good song. People will tell you such and such's past is worse later and sure different kinds of tragedy hit different for each viewer, and you may have a different opinion than mine already, you've already seen each crew member has their own painful flashbacks, but. 50 years. completely alone, I can imagine it. I never want to experience it.

Brooks backstory really hits different I can’t help but tear up

A quartet…a trio…a duet…a solo. Brook's story gets harder to watch the older I get. I know too many people who are no longer with us. The vivre card burning just means that person's in danger. Might be actively dying, might be in a situation where he could die, we don't know, only that he's in danger. If Luffy had one, it might have looked like that when he was fighting Crocodile in Alabasta. It would've gone back to normal after that.

Idk what it is about Zoro but hes MF GOAT. I mean we see characters do crazy shit all the time but with zoro its just tuned up to the max. Idk how to explain it but the way he thinks, his morals and his actions. He’s definitely worthy of beings luffys right hand man. Can’t be no softie for that position.

Laboon is so cute! Luffy been wanting a musician from the beginning, and Brook is who Laboon's waiting for? He needs to come along.

Zoro already had the respect of many fans before this point, but this act made him legendary. And credit to Sanji for being willing to sacrifice himself as well. In fact, I feel confident in saying that all the other members of the Straw Hats would have made the same offer: their life for Luffy's. However, I also believe that Zoro is the only one other that Luffy that could have survived taking in all that pain and suffering.
