@@luchousa1 you don't have to keep it mounted on the motorcycle. You can remove it. You only really needed it to fine tune and make changes. I just had mine on the handlebars until I found the right tune, then removed it and haven't remounted it yet

I honestly wouldn't know, as I have never used the fp4. So far this tuner is very user friendly though.

It is Dark Grey. Honestly wish I would have went medium or light grey, its hard to see through at night.

Congrats on the 2024! It is my understanding that HD will void your warranty for using non 50 state legal exhaust. I would check with your local custom motorcycle shop, the stealerships like to feed us bogus info.

HD will dam near void your warranty if you put new stickers on the bike if they can. 🤣 i always say just upgrade the bike as you please! Keep your stock parts and swap em if a “warranty” issue comes up 👍🏼

I have not had it dyno tuned, but I did re-map the computer, using a dyno-jet power commander tuner to the pipe specs.

The only issue that I had was probably my fault and that was the screws backed out on the freeway and the taillight got sucked up under the fender and got ripped off by the back tire. I did not use any lock-tite on the screws, because honestly I never have in the past for any of my other bikes and taillights. I ended up buying a new taillight from Amazon that has the integrated turn signals that plugged right in. I just didn't want to spend $150+ for another one so I went the cheaper route. The Amazon one looks similar but the quality is cheaper.

Ya I agree, at idle it does seem kind of low tone compared to an evo or twin cam thunderheader. The video doesn't really do it justice either though, sounds better in person and louder at higher rpm.

@@friscolrst well if it was a new exhaust it takes time to break in and replacing the cam in those bikes really wakes them up sound and performance wise.

I ran mine underneath the gas tank.

I picked up the Thunderheader in 2022, but I believe they started making them when the new softails came out

It sounds good on the freeway when you open the throttle up. The black seems to be holding up well, no fading or discoloration

Finish looks good still, I think a big part of it is taking the time to clean off the grease/fingerprints after installing it. They recommended wiping it down with acetone after installation.

The tuner downloads the stock tune first and stores it so that you can always re-flash it to stock if needed.

Interesting, how long was the bike sitting since the last time you started/rode it? Do you have any accessories, like aftermarket led lights etc?

@@friscolrst it’s been a few days, but I also have the FIN gps module from harley hooked up to my bike so I’m thinking that it’s slowly draining my battery, I had a ECM Y and the code was P 1608h, I’ve been leaving my bike on the charger since so the battery doesn’t drain itself again

@@dmvbenz7536 Did you clear the code? If so hopefully it wont come back on.

@@friscolrst I’m going to clear it before my ride today, and if it does happen to come back on I’ll prob end up having to take it to the dealership for it to be looked at, but hoping once I turn the code off it won’t come back

It is awesome at freeway speeds and beyond! No buffeting and it sends the air right over your head and not into your face like the stock one does. My only gripe is that I went with the dark smoke and at night it is kind of hard to see through.

Sorry I do not. It was super simple though, I picked up the mount from Amazon and it installs in minutes

I used the stock bolts and the spacers that came off of the stock bags. They are two piece spacers, I used the half that sits against the struts with the flat side facing the new bracket, then just added a flat washer with the stock bolts going through the new bracket.

Nothing a cam upgrade won’t fix 😉

Ya it wasn't a deal breaker for me though. I have recently swapped out the bags for a set of Villain 2 Hero bags. Check put my latest video, if you want to see how they look compared the stock bags. -Thanks

The lights are not currently set up to stay on as running lights but I believe you can hook them up to stay on.

I believe you can run just the taillight itself, but the signals wouldn't work

Yes both the speakers and this device can sync to your phone at the same time and you just control it through the remote. Mainly for music though, phone won't work cause there's no mic
