Omg I remember discovering this trick. I was like, “Could I just hoverboard past everything?” And after a lot of tries I eventually did it. Felt so good! 🙌

This level was terrible but it wasn't the one I gave up on. The one where you have to save everyone from the prison was where I gave up. Honestly this was a bad game, most of the mechanics didn't function correctly (one of the worst vehicle controls ever) and it wasn't balanced at all (no checkpoints and what's the point of having 8 health points when each hit does 2 damage?).

ITS NOT EASY. STOP SHOWING OFF HOW COULD YOU ARE!!

I just completed it and tried tue hover board method but i kept falling off so i fought my way through most of it. At the end i used the hover board to jump over them and get to the final checkpoint 😭

This and the Fire Canyon level in Precursor Legacy literally gave me childhood PTSD 💀💀

Title is a bit misleading, the hardest mission in this game is actually shooting down the tanker ship at the Drill Platform

Back when I played this in 2003!!! Me and brother could not for the life of us get past this level. It took a friend of mine that played I went to school with who was just a completionist of games to help me get past this part. I had beat Jak 3 before beating this level. Props to you for making it look so easy.

Nice. All I do is spam the square button when going through, I get it in like 2 tries. 1 if max health lol. If this or the jetboard weren't a mechanic then yes this would be the hardest mission for me, but because these exist, I can't lol. Fuck the race against Erol though.

All I did was punch and jump the entire mission and it worked so easy. I only killed three guards and the lasers weren't able to hit me.

I genuinely think this is how it’s intended to be beaten. Like, it’s more of a platforming challenge than combat, because the enemies endlessly spawn and because you get killed if you fall off the walkways.

Now what’s crazy, is that you save up a dark jak for this mission and then you dark slam the water, that’ll disable turret and you’ll be able to use your jetboard on the water without getting killed

So I fight my ass to do it legit on all ps platforms when I could just board my way out 🤣🤣 I really need to watch these before I platinum games 🤣 Jak 2 is one of the most tedious games I platinumed and I done it 3 times 😂

Or you could just use the Chad strat and play the intended way with your arsenal, it gives the game a lot more depth and yes it is difficult, but if the whole game was easy, it wouldn't be worth playing would it.

This mission is easy in my opinion. The only 3 missions I can't do are "destroy the ship in drill platform", "Onin's game" and "Metalhead mash" Edit:Metalhead mash is easy for me now.
