มุมมอง 106K10 ปีที่แล้ว
Sensation In just a year, Tommy declares himself a "sensation" and begins to have a profound impact on people whenever he nears them, including motorcycle gangs (played by The Black Angels Of The North East Coast) and slot-machine gambling Teddy Boys. Flying above them in a hang-glider, Tommy's mere presence converts them and many others to a new life according to his beliefs, as opposed to the...

Another day in England..👍😳
Роджера Долтри трудно представить в другом амплуа
LOL
✌️
@0:48 How did that guy get three shots out of a double barrel shotgun?
A Wizard did it.
An inside look into the future: exclusive interview with Binance’s CEO
Does the guy at 3:04 in the red jacket look like a 1970's time-traveling Zac Efron to anybody else?
Deute. 18:9-14, Mark 7:18-23,
I recently showed this film to someone who never seen it before. Of all the overwhelming scenes, he was blown away by this particular one. I also recently discovered the "dancing mods" are doing Northern Soul steps, which was HOT in 1975 England
didn't see any mods in this video, saw hells angels and Teddy Boys.
TOMMY STILL A SENSATION
My dad was the local copper , he gave the angels a lot of hassle, not that they did anything wrong , great bunch of lads , he was just a tosser , sorry everyone .
The tall guy on the honda cb360 was in the hells angels documentry filmed in 1973 these bikers in this are the real deal 😁
adoro esse filme
Les hell's Angels sont de sales porcs puants 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Pukka bikers in that scene i spotted a rd350 in there to ❤
I could not stop laughing at this scene when I was tripping last night
What is the name of dance that the bikers were doing
Sunderlands "Black Angels Motorcycle Club" appeared in this scene from Tommy.
Some of us old Hippies never die I'm 60 still Rocking.!!!!
Super Kool Kool!!!!
Chrysler Sigma
it's soooooooooooo 1970's isn't it, all is missing is space hoppers and chopper bikes🙃
Is this how Roger hurt his back- so Brave
I'm not sure about his back, but Daltrey did say his hang glider came down in a nettle field... ouch!
Those bikers caused so much mayhem that they later had to be taught a lesson by the Mods in QUADROPHINIA!
thats Rockers not hells angels, also in the real world the Rockers won in the end, I know I was one
Great movie loved my 3 years in the black angels over 46 years now
Best remedie Deaf du an d blind , en blond
World now
DEAF DUMB AND BLIND
the Teddy Boy at 3:11 looks so much like Monty Pythons Michael Palin
Does he?????? Maybe they're related!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Roger Daltry hanglides around Ukraine with this shirt off, could he stop the war today?
Teddy boy breakdancing at 3:40. Time travel.
They invented that style of dancing. I knew one who used to dance like that.
Guy shows up and bikers start dancing.
3:33 Is that an early form of break dancing?
Is that supposed to look look like the who's next album cover or was that just a coincidence
3:00 best sideburns you'll ever see
The Who were the only group in all of Rock history that could have pulled this off.
The most important rock opera of all time.
This scene is even dumber than I remember.
I love guitar in 2:07!! Beautiful musical phrase.
Agree🤝 I also like that playing. 👍
Roger Daltrey singing while flying a hangglider? YES!
My ex-wife screaching while swinging from the chandelier. NO!
How Tommy got the bikers to stop fighting and dance together seems to be a film screen miracle, just like when Luke Skywalker impassioned Darth Vader in ROTJ.
The dancing reminds me Rocky Horror
I bet that git uncle Frank talked Tommy into risking his life by going around on a handglider to bring in followers so he could make money out of them
It's germane, Any-thin is possible. Thin and in the light. BAK
Well that de-escalated quickly...
I wish Roger would’ve sang this on the original Tommy album. It’s coming from the point of ‘Tommy’ and also, his voice is so darn good on this song. He absolutely kills it! It’s great to have both versions I suppose.
I share your opinion, mate.🤝 That's true. 👍 Greetings from Russia. Svetlana.
Yeah this is a consequence of the confused nature of the original album's development--initially it was decided that Townshend would sing the songs sung from Tommy's POV (hence him singing "Sensation" and the "See Me, Feel Me" portion of "Go To the Mirror") but then it shifted towards Daltrey singing Tommy's POV as well as Mrs. Walker's; so the final album ends up pretty confused, and live performances depend more on who needs a vocal break for a given song
For sure
Amazing
My dad was one of the bikers in the fight scene....rip dad xx
omg 😔
Fuckin' A ....I love this movie.....the same director did Altered States...if I'm correct?
My friend Jay dug the Rock a Billy vatos....he's a shit kicker....
H.A.s and the A.O.A. having a rumble....Tommy brokers the peace.
it looked a rough fight scene!!
gadzooks
😁
Why were the Bikers fighting each other
Mods vs rockers
Hells Angel type patch clubs used to fight each other and rip off each others colours, back in those days. Went on a lot. Nothing to do with mods and rockers, there's not a mod in sight, and these were patch club bikers rather than the ton up boy rockers of the 1960's...
Roger Daltrey is a sensation!! My favourite movie. ❤️
Daltry on a handglider, singing this track- beats anything Chuck Norris could ever do...
Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. Too bad he's never cried.
@@RVBOY2 LMAO I love it!
Dumb post Jamie...... Just dumb
@jamiegustkey2573 - I think this is perhaps the boldest and likely most courageous thing I have seen on the Internet.
another way to feel it coming
So me and my sis accidentally watched this and it became our favorite fuken movie were in our 30s we love older movies
I'm 53 and watched a lot of movies from The 30s to The 70s. I was at a drive-in in 1975 that had two screens. I was promised to see "Tommy" but my sister and brother-in-law opted for "Walking Tall : Part 2". I finally saw Tommy in 1981 at a drive-in twice. Both times with "Heavy Metal".
This movie is an absolute classic musically, and when Jack Nicholson sings you a song, it puts the movie on another level lol
