Just watched it at the cinema, I give it 7/10 for storyline. 9/10 for the lead actor, Bruce. He is brilliant in acting... 8/10 for the rest of the actors/actresses
I find that it great that people are still interested in Bruce Lee's legacy. I like the fact that this movie takes a different point of view of his life. I found Dragon a bit silly but enjoyable. Hopefully this one is better.

It was a good movie, saw it the other day, kind of makes you wonder bout all the other stuff that came out, because as Robert Lee pointed out, Ip Man retired and it was his students who taught Bruce Lee martial arts, I wonder whose telling the truth now since this movie came out, Long live the legend of Bruce Lee, so much tragedy in his and his families life all those years! See, why is it that people think bruce lee screamed and acted like this in real life? He himself admitted that he did those kind of screams in his movies because it got people's attention, that's why he always, constantly showed off his body, these high kicks in his movies. He did it for the attention but if you look at his training videos, real life sparring videos and exercise videos, he screamed like a regular person or not even make a beep. These kind of movies tarnish bruce lee's image.

Typical of Hong Kong productions are the prolonged melodramatic parts which take up the first 2/3rds of the movie.. just letting you know as not to be dissapointed in expecting an action movie
their is only ONE thing bad about this and its the way bruce does his trade mark eerie mind blowing scream, when this guys does it, it sounds blank like its got no depth to it. their must be a way that they can tweek the voice to give that famous trade scream, i mean hollywood do it all the time, they cant just get another look a like, i miss that brain tearing scream bruce could produce, gives it emotion EVERYTHING ELSE IS AMAZING but please dont let lee down on his trade mark scream

I hope that this movie explains why he wore clown paint and dug out of his grave and why that crow always followed him around.I really always wondered about that part of his life.
@highdiary He has already portrayed Bruce in a little 50 part TV series called "The Legend of Bruce Lee", Lions Gate recently released a cut version of the show into a 3 hour movie, & even dubbed it in English. Too bad its also not the most accurate portrayal, it seems whenever a Bruce Lee biopic comes out they always seemed to unnecessarily exaggerate and dramatize things such as his back injury, Hopefully this stays true to his life story.
I feel like a lot is happening here from the Japanese taking over to the British taking over. Its like Ip man and Ip man 2 put together in one movie all over again lol.
If this is gonna have another one of those endings where he beats the evil foreigner and restores chinese pride, I'm gonna pass. But seems like they bothered to do a bit of research on the man at least.
I would prefer Danny Chan Kwok Kwan to play Bruce Lee. He got much tougher look. Aarif Lee has a very clean look, he needs to roughen up and he looks more like Wang Lee Hom actually.
