That's an odd looking harp. Also had a good laugh when he showed the colored patches of his gleeman's cloak was actually the lining. Kinda defeats the purpose.

I love the irony of Thom performing this song in front of the Dragon, the very person the song is about, who has in fact *forgotten* the events that the song addresses. Everyone in the room is staring, spellbound, while Rand is sort of glancing around a bit, as if he is more interested in watching other people. It's a brilliant bit of staging.

This tune was one of the few surprises that this WOT reader enjoyed completely. I love the cover versions as well.

I honestly don't find the show appealing and wouldn't even "endure" through watching it if I wasn't such a huge fan of the fantasy genre. But this scene and song will be forever imprinted in my heart and mind. Simply sublime!
