That's a Good SIMP asking for "Permission" buy himself a knife with his own money. But then again you got to have no brains to pay $500 or more plus shipping for a knife and he has folks money tied up and has not made folks knife and waiting on the blades to be shipped in from overseas and either get lost or stuck in customs and will not refund folks hard earned money to go buy elsewhere. Ridiculous Smh.

I hate the loop and oversized sheath. They have a custom version with a minimalist sheath with a DCC. NO IDEA why they sell the stock model with that janky as F sheath. It’s meant to be concealed, all the extra material on that sheath is a deal breaker. SHIVWORKS, sell it with the custom sheath and I’ll buy 4 of them.

I get you and even agree to a point, however I think two issues have need to be discussed. First, getting this bag on still sucks compared to other normal clip fanny packs. Second, depending on body type, because the buckle is in front I have had people. I know that when they bend over their buckle comes unclipped, and it falls off. It hasn’t happened to me, but body type seems to be a factor. I get the security point of buckle placement but I also haven’t ever seen anyone reporting that their fanny pack got unclipped from their body while they were walking and said person then ran off with their fanny pack. I have seen that with purses and other bags but nothing like a fanny pack. Not saying it’s an invalid point but I don’t know that it’s such a huge security issue that I feel uncomfortable with a buckle in the back… have you seen or heard reports of people getting fanny packs stolen off their body’s? I’d love to see some data on that if you have! Otherwise I totally get your point and agree, but for me it’s not a huge issue. Getting the bag on regularly and having it unclip on someone (for me) would be bigger issues. Also, I wonder if some of this could be fixed with just a better buckle system? What do you think?

Various reasons for the little webbing loop - protecting your skin/clothes from the hook and loop is part of it, and also enabling you to loop it on a carabiner or keys or whatever. I actually used those same neoprene carriers a lot before we had our own, they aren’t good for mags, which is what they are made for, but are great for the ETQ. The neoprene carriers are made in China, ours are made in USA, but yeah, they cost a lot to make, and the awesome and vastly superior DCC clip is very expensive. Glad you like the ETQ. For how big the bag is, it’s really annoying. It’s so much wasted space. The zipper seems like a great improvement, but did they increase the size of the pocket at all? . There are a few seamstress / tailors around. I might honestly take this video to them and see if they could stick a zipper in my old SOCP for me. 😂 Excellent review & video!
