Still vertical KT... still vertical. Well, what passes for vertical these days 😃 My MS team are slowly coming round to my way of thinking and are in the process of changing my diagnosis from Relapsing Remitting MS to Secondary Progressive. If that happens then I'll be coming off my current treatment but that's not without risks so they are being extra cautious. Mum & Dad are slowly fading but they are still with me for now so trying to make them as happy as possible. Hope all is well with you and yours? Cheers 🍺

There was one room where they had to have a guard there 24/7 to protect the staff as the patient was abusive. Absolutely begs belief ! Like you said, where would we be without these people. They don’t even get a parking space

Hi Terry, nice to have you with us 👍 Yes, most of my stuff is done with the Insta 360 ONE X2. Editing usually starts with shot selection on an iPad. Once I have the shots set up, direction, zoom and pan, that gets exported as a standard, none 360, MP4 file. Final edit is done on a Linux desktop. The reason I don't do it all on a desktop is because raw 360 editing isn't really supported to any degree just yet as the Insta software only supports Windows and Mac. I don't have a Windows machine with good enough GPU to handle the 360 raw footage and doing it on a machine with out a GPU is possible but painful. @@MrTerryb1956 Good idea Terry... I've never really tried to use the phone, other than viewing the video feed from the camera but I do think the phone screen is way too small to really work as an effective editor. If you need any help, just shout. Cheers🍺

Hi Kirsy... close, very very close but no, sadly not 😀Our eldest is now 14 and she's called Quercy, after the region in South West France where we had ours second home. Pronounced Kercy but spelled Quercy. Our 12 year old is Monti, and he's named after the village of Montaigu-de-Quercy just a few miles down the road and finally, we have 6 yr old Gibson. We lost his predecessor Grub at a very early age so needed a name beginning with "G" so the Q M G tackle hooks still made sense 👍 Cheers 🍺

Trying to remember when I escaped the clutches of Longton High... It must have been 83 I think. Best day of my life, closely followed by watching it get blow to smithereens just a few years back 🤣🤣🤣

My old man was an electrician, started his apprenticeship at Doulton's at the age of just 15... that must have been in 1954! His greatest claim to fame was he installed the winding gear for Hem Heath Colliery. He nicked a bit of copper bus bar and made a Crib Board from it that I still have to this day... it's bloody heavy! 👍

Thanks for the comment but I hope you don't really intend to kill me 😅 By way of some small mitigation, the situation was more complex than a 10 second clip from a dash cam can show but most of the important detail is here. At the time, it want's clear what he was doing. True he indicated, correctly, True he's doing the right thing in reversing on to his driveway thus avoiding having to reverse out on to the main road next trip out. True I did creep forward, ever-so-very slightly, once the reversing lights illuminated. But, having incorrectly assumed the indication and pulling over to the left, was actually a parking manoeuvre, my attention was more focused on the oncoming traffic for which I was giving way. I'm still not convinced the other guy was aware I was there and, if I was in his position, I wouldn't have initiated the reverse until the queuing traffic had passed by. That's just my opinion and everyone else is fully entitled to theirs.👍 Thanks again for the comment and I'll be referring others back here so I don't have to repeat myself too often. Hi SPJ, thanks for watching and commenting. It's a DJI Mini SE. At the very low end of their offering but it does exactly what I want. Obviously I'd love a better one, 4K and zoom would be nice, so would collision avoidance 🤣🤣🤣 but funds are not bottomless so I have to make do👍
