    I did seal installation the same way. Just a tip: on the chain side, you might want to put in the inner sleeve after the washers, BEFORE pressing in the seals. I did not put the sleeve in for pressing and the spacers got offset a bit, so the sleeve sits a bit tight. Still able to push it in by hand, but requires some force...

    Why remove the shock? Isn't the swing arm free once the bottom bolt is removed?

    • @ShawnBlais
      @ShawnBlais 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Probably because he's going to do the PDS bearings, but yes, not necessary to just remove the swing-arm.

    Hello I have been searching the whole internet 😞I have a 525 EXC from 2004 in Europe and I want to mount supermoto wheels. However I have no idea what size to buy, especially the axles... is it 20mm rear 20mm front??

    Great video, thanks! I'll be tackling mine most likely tonight. Hopefully I can just re-pack the bearings...dreaded lack of grease from factory during assembly.

    Since you no longer produce these , would you be kind enough to give me the dimensions for the end which pushes the bearing in I believe its 27.8mm x 8.5mm To the a 31mm diameter which locates off the first counter bore face , not the front face?????

    Thanks for saying that about the washers only being on left side. KTM parts schematic only shows the one side, so I'd assumed the other was a mirrored setup, but no. Thanks for clarifying! Wondered if I was shorted the parts in the kit I bought!

    Genius. Never gall the hub pounding out the bearings, never bugger up the bearing on installation, seals installed to the correct depth. Very professional tool and fantastic results. Impressive. Just ordered one 🤙🏽

    Why do people buy those tools for bearings they tap out easy with a hammer and punch, a little heat on the hub if they've been in there for 20 years and an appropriate size socket to tap the new ones in, easy 10 minute job 👌😉

    I love my original morgans swingarm tool, but wow, this one looks like a ton of unnecessary complexity to remove wheel bearings. A few gentle taps for behind and they're out.

      As they are no longer in production (per the comment from the OP), you can look for Motion Pro (well known tool make) who have one and also TH-cam channel Tokyo Off-road. Tusk may do one too.

    Anyone afraid to tackle this... my 15 year old daughter pulled the swingarm and linkages off her kx100. Regreased and put in all back together. Plus she pulled apart the headset bearings and greased them too. Common sense a manual and be sure to use a torque wrench. Blue loctight on anything that's not self locking nutted. Heads up... in 39 years of racing mx... over 50 brand new bikes... not one was greased from factory... better get to greasing
