Micro VHF Mobile Radio From The 80's
Bought an old, late 80's ICOM ic228a, VHF only, 5w to 25w mobile radio and have no regrets.
Found it on eBay and spent $91 to get it to my door, the winning bid before shipping was $71. Total build was less than $150. This was a super fun and relatively inexpensive project and the finished product is an absolute VIBE.
Looks like I'm ready to call in reinforcements with this thing. 😂

Some features to look out for when choosing pants for concealed carry. There are some key features I always look for in new pants like, belt loop configuration, button style and size, overall weight of material, do they feel durable? Hopefully this helps someone that may be new to CCW and looking for ways to make their experience more comfortable.

Tier 1 Concealed APX First Impressions

Ended up making some adjustments and installing the DCC clips, which do work in some configurations. I'll probably end up tweaking it some more; Speaking of... Compared to my other holsters, the APX is easier to adjust and re-configure. Usually I have a harder time reaching into the holster and mag carrier to access the back of the hardware.
