I tried same thing when I could not source the correct SMD LEDs, unknown voltage and amps. Mine glowed very dim. My Sharp had 3 diffusers: 1 fesnel lens, 1 opaque and one semi clear along with the LCD glass.

Bayya Videocon led tv 50 inches speakers cost plz

So I took my Samsung 60 JS 7000 apart. It has ten rows but only bottom 6 work and the top 4 rows don’t. I switched out a working one and placed on top and the bad one at bottom. All rows lit up like a Christmas tree. I was happy only to find out that when I picked my tv to check the back the TVs top4 rows turned off again. I kinda wiggled it and they turned on again. The strips all work fine. Do you know what could be causing top 4 rows from turning off? I have no issue with the bottom 6 rows. If you can help or anyone that might has some knowledge of tv electronics it would be greatly appreciated. When this first started I would just give a bang and tv would work fine until it didn’t. Eventually not a bang to tv would work. So my thinking there is a loose wire or something might be triggering or not triggering for the lights to turn. Again any help would be great.

Anyone watching the last part he needs to learn to solder and use flux, pair of tweezers and buy a smaller soldering iron flux cleans the board and helps the solder to stick without it you get a mess

It is my belief that it is a waste of time to replace or fix the individual LED's; especially if the LED's have been burning for years. Better to purchase the LED strips and replace the whole lot. These are relative inexpensive on eBay. And VERY easy to replace all of the entire strips.

السلام عليكم انا في عندي شاشة جي جارد سمارت ٤ك ٥٥ انش الجهاز قبل شهر اصبح ينطفي بشكل كامل و بدون سبب وعند اعادة تشغيله وذلك بفصل التيار كاملا ثم اعادته يشتغل بشكل طبيعي لبعض الوقت واخيرا لم يعد يشتغل . شو ممكن يكون السبب وكيف اعيد تصليحه اصحاب الخبرة الرجاء الارشاد ولكم جزيل الشكر.

Dude, this is a shit job! Thise stick on led strips would have been a better option or you could have just used the hot air soldering. This is a complete hack job.
