If you watch tape Caitlin Clark is fucking up as well don’t just shift all the blame to her teammates

She shoots over 8 3 pointers a game and is making 35% so far. That is her offensive game. They show you the 3 she makes not the 7 she misses and you (not anyone directly) declare her the greatest ever. Her offensive game is extremely limited. So she does what she she should do which is improve her game by choosing better shots and getting her teammates more involved, which is what she is supposed to do as the point guard everyone demanded she be. The team improves as does her numbers, they go on a 4-1 run and her "fans" are mad because she doesn't shoot enough. People are literally mad because she is doing better and playing smarter. They blame jealousy which is stupid and makes no sense on her not just throwing up junk like she is a Harlem Globetrotter. That 17 point 13 assist game makes her a star. Shooting 35% to score 22 a game is going to make her a loser. It almost seems like her fans would prefer that so they can keep gossiping like they are watching a reality show.

WNBA is not about sport. It's a sorority of sectarian, untalented women who managed to virtue-con the NBA into financing their mediocrity.

That is why putting Taylor on waiver is such a boneheaded move. They should actually try to put as many young kegs fresh out of the NCAA as they can instead of holding on to the Wheeler and Wallace of this world. Right now it is becoming clearer and clearer that the Fever management has no clue how to surround their generational player for her to be successful now and in the future. Right now you have four question mark players in Wheeler, Wallace, Smith and Mitchell. The incapacity of this organization to make move to improve the surrounding of CC and the atmosphere of the locker room baffles me. They cut players that they should seriously comsider to keep and play princess with players that have outstayed their welcome or should be put on notice. They need to find their Phil Jackson to match their MJ (CC). I can tell you right now Christie Sides ain’t it. The incapacity of Sides to put the ball in the hands of CC in crucial moments like the 4th Qtr of the Sky game and give it to Wheeler instead to lose a 12 points lead and finish the game in losing by 1 shows me that Christie is not the Phil Jackson that CC deserves or needs. Right now the biggest danger is that keeping CC in this constant turmoil might damage her confidence or her will to push this team forward. This is the worse thing that could happen to this team.

Here is the heartwarming side of the story. My daughter played the game, I never did. At work, it was disproportionately my black male friends who taught me how to help her. At the gym, it was always black men who approached her with mentorship. Her best, most compassionate coaches were a black father -daughter duo. On social media black men, famous and not so famous, support CC. Thank you for the example you set to all.

I think you are absolutely right about the personal relationships in the league. And to those saying they are trying to dumb down CC, they are right, too. This league is not about winning, it is about job security for their cohort. Taking the shots out of CC’s hands, starting a player who misses almost 75% of her shots and half of her free throws, and with the game on the line setting up this subpar player to get the deciding shot? But, it is not just in Indy, we see it across the league. The newer players are not being allowed to eclipse the dinosaurs and play style continues to be stuck in a form that blocks out the new generation.

I agree with everything you said; Caitlin is an Old School professional athlete, the WNBA is consumed with the Me, My, I syndrome…. Caitlin’s team are proven losers, they cannot play at her level…. Sides; I don’t think she is trying to ruin Caitlin “intentionally “, she’s just in way over her head with Caitlin; Sides coached her team to the bottom 2 years in a row… hand her a generational talent and she literally has no idea how to “coach” the rest of the team to keep up with Caitlin

I totally agree with this guy!!!!! He is soooo right! Angel Reese is one of many jealous black black players in the WNBA! Reese uses her "rivalry" with Caitlin Clark to get attention! This "rivalry" is in her mind because Caitlin Clark doesn't acknowledge it at all...

I think some of it is they can't adjust to her talent. But it could be they don't want to catch her passes because the press will praise CC for being such a good passer. I mean they cannot stop CC's shots from making baskets, but they can miss or drop her passes that could be caught. That is one way they could mess with her. And people should know by now it is not beneath them to do something like that. CC is not exactly well liked around the league. Even by some of her teammates (and coach).

Nonsense! This team just won four in a row. So how could her teammates suck? So when they win, it’s because of CC but when they lose it’s everyone fault but hers. Dude she is playing a college style offense at the pro level. It’s like running a college offense in the NFL. Folks haven’t seen it but will adjust. CC is not generational. She is good but not generational. She plays a style not played at pro level. That’s her winning formula. When they catch up what will she do then? THis is not about color . We all loved Mike because he was great the greatest ! We all love Clark because we see that same kind of greatness in her . We love these players because of the talent not because their skin color .

Mitchell can’t catch period.. If you go back to last season you’ll see the same thing.. she just does not have good hand eye coordination.. so she literally can’t accurately judge where the ball is in the air. Other than that, she’s solid.. she’s fast and she’s a good shooter.

I grew up playing all sports every Coach I had taught me if you love the game you will be a better player but the most important thing I was taught was good sportsmanship Angela Reese has none of that. What makes Catlin so great is she is all around a great player and a good person. Reese is so full of herself she may have fans but not the kind Catlin has

CC blows away the fog of sub-standard basketball this league called WNBA is selling us. CC shows how professional basketball is supposed to be played by "professional basketball players." Of course those victimhood-complainers do not like that one bit.

Some say that this year’s super scorer Mitchell plays “hero ball” but often makes a fool of herself and, more importantly, does not make her teammates better. Clark does. That’s why folks favor CC.

I said the same thing to my friends that they need to clean house. They need to build a round Clark and have players that are willing to build around Clark and be there and ready when she passes ball, like when she played at the University of Iowa. I just see too much that these ladies cannot handle the passes at all that RB and passed from Clark to them. It’s like they don’t know what to do with it or they can’t finish play. I agree they do need to get rid of a lot of their players and get players in that can handle the passes to them, can think things through better than what they are doing now.

Kaitlyn Clark can only go up. She’s a great basketball player athlete and she deserves everything that she gets. You never hear her complain and we just love her to death. She is wonderful she’s a Christian girl she has a boyfriend. She was just a wonderful person and I’ve never met her only seen her play ball. And I hope everything keeps going well for her

Caitlin Clark is a rookie that is breaking records. Not only is she playing against the opposing team, she is playing against most of her teammates that are jealous and still hating her, she is playing against her coach that won’t let her shoot the ball, switches her position after she breaks the assist record and the coach gave away a 15 point lead and lost the game. The Fever just dropped a top defensive player in the league, the Fever doesn’t want a winning team trade CC to a city that cares about their team and their fans, or fire the coach and any teammate that will not accept CC as the point guard and a teammate. Fire Sides cause if you don’t the Fever doesn’t care at all about their fans or the city and state they play in.

Clark should use her immense popularity and demand a trade out of that circus. No one would blame her. But she's too classy to pull such a stunt.

And why was Smith playing fake defense on Sunday compared to the 2 previous times when she shut Reese down both games. On June 1, Reese only made 2 buckets THAT ENTIRE GAME!. And then u look at this game and what do u see...Smith raising her arms up like a statue and moving backwards every time Reese went to the basket. Smith wasn't even trying to contest the ball...she was letting Reese score!! Now, what in the world was that all about?!?!

It doesn't help that her coach apparently refuses to design plays for CC.

You are saying things that all of the Caitlin Clark fans are thinking… the coach obviously has ties to several players that are just not a good fit for the game that is required to compliment Caitlin’s extraordinary talent. When things are working for 3 quarters then the coach reverses back to what doesn’t work and they lose all the ground that they gained it is absolute insanity . This is just my feeling, but I feel like the coach is trying to save some of her favorite players trying to save their careers. I guess at the cost of Caitlin… if the owner wanted the caliber of player that Caitlin is they should’ve been ready day one to start shifting how the coach and how the team plays and I feel like the Coach is displaying passive, aggressive behavior .like the coach plays a portion of the game the way that the owner or whoever is above her wants to and what they expect and she, she says yes, yes to their face and then sabotage it going back to what she wants to do for the players that she truly wants to promote and support, all the other conflict of interest I’m hoping they have some kind of strategy going into this Olympic break and make some major changes in front of me. I don’t think letting Celeste go was in the line of doing what’s best to build a team. Ultimately, it appears from my limited knowledge that Coach side just wants a balance team where everybody’s making about the same amount of points and attempts and chill. Call it good that’s going to absolutely kill Caitlin’s remarkable talent!
