how do i not lock my wrist? idk what it should feel like when i don’t because then i can’t play fast
@@yobreadyo9201 Some people don’t even realize or feel that their wrists are locked. For example, LH is locked, Use your RH to check to see if LH is moving, if it is not moving naturally then it means it is locked Also you will start having pain eventually when your wrist is locked and keep playing with locked wrists
Amazing Lucy 🙌❤️🙌

When playing pieces that require large movements, it is important for us to train the muscles in our hands to remember which position produces which sound. Practice slowly at first, so that you can move accurately without looking at your hands. Thank you for sharing dear Lucy❤🙌🏻
Indeed, training muscle to travel for the exact distance to reach keys without looking and visualizing an imaginary keyboard in head is very advanced skill for students, it requires a long term training. When students start guessing notes and memorizing the piece before learning the piece will only slow down their learning progress!! Thanks Mika!

Let's go 🎉
It takes a long time to play at a steady tempo and it really highlights the importance of the metronome. Great way to teach, dear Lucy❤🎹🎶🌟💫❤
So true! It is most complex for students to be able to play steadily. It requires a long term training. Subdividing the beat and playing by pulse with a metronome is the key!
