Sounds great
Don't bother installing a sound system, you already have music.
😂
Very nice
Thanks!
Love your 38, but I’m sure not as much as you do. Love the wide whites and 55 olds spinners. A real balancing act between the car, family, and your move
Thank you sir!
🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 God Bless 🙏🤗 Gary
Sounds great!
Sweet looking and sounding car.
Thanks Larry! Hopefully be back on the model cars soon.
Hi, I just subbed to your channel.
Thank you!
@@HayAuto you're welcome anytime!!!!!
You got some awsome builds brother, love them kustoms lol..i think BG had a video on transporting models, check him out.
Thanks! Will do!
@@HayAuto No problem, his video is a few years old, but I'm sure if you ask him he'll give you the link to that video.👍
N watch the bumps on the roads😁
Beautiful builds! I'm sure you'll be very careful with those gems!!
Grt
Beautiful builds. Maybe some of those corrugated baseball card boxes with cushioning. I've used them in the past. Hopefully the cars arrive to your new home undamaged. Thanks for sharing.
Good luck with the transportation! When traveling (and hiw the live at home) is to use under the bed totes. I have a few different sizes from ones that fit single layer 4 kits, 8-10 kits and 15-16kits. Slim totes where they can all just sit in the bottom and if needed can use a terry cloth to stack them 2 high.
This.
i need to ship a built model to europe from canada, i’m stressed on how to go about packing it lol. also wonder if foam will damage the paint if touching it to long..
I’d probably put a layer of cloth or paper towel between the model and the foam
I'd be stressed out, hopefully they survive
Great seeing a video from you again! I have missed you! Lots of toilet paper and soft cloth/ worn t-shirts and packed in a hard plastic box is what i would use for transportation
Thanks! Yeah that’s what I’ve been doing, wrapping gently then confining them so they don’t move around.
I have missed your videos since you were busy packing for your move. Quite an undertaking with your large family and big and little hobby’s. Best of luck with the move and stay safe.
@@sandykonigsberg1087 thank you sir! The absence is only temporary
Very cool. All of them are spectacular. 👍👍👍
Nice looking car. Great job
I LOVE VINTAGE NASCAR CAR AS WELL!!!!
I LOVE SPENDING TIME WITH MY NASCAR FAMILY!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH. A TOTALLY AWSOME VIDEO AND A TOTALLY AWSOME BUILD. THANKS FOR SHARING!!1
My pleasure!!
Nice garage time.😊
Building and problem solving, but on a bigger scale - I dig it! Love the progress. And definitely keep those caps! Things are only going to get harder to find and more expensive as the car hobby literally dies off.😢
OMG, he is still alive!
Looks great so far! Thanks for showing us how you’re doing this. You are inspiring me to do basically the same thing to my old 51 Chevy pickup. Keep us updated. Thanks!
You can do it! It's not that hard.
Glad to see you are making head way.
You may be aware, but I think you may need to run a support on your steering shafts. I have seen a lot of severely modded C10s and they frequently run them. I'm still sanding my 63 Riviera and hope to get paint on it before it's too hot over here in AZ. Keep at it and you'll have it going soon!
Right, I meant to mention that. I’ve seen some brackets with a heim or u joint that bolt or weld to the frame.
Yep, that's what I'm talking about. Not sure the correct term but basically a carrier bearing.
Lancers will look great.
You've been busy, making nice progress, 😎👍
Thanks 👍
Great update on the 38. I think you are going to get to drive it this summer. Ron
That's the plan!
Very nice. Thanks for the update.
Very impressive build... awesome history hotrod
👍👍👍👍 Wait till the move is over then put your tranny in. Lots of great stuff. I'll be watching
So cool.
I used the bolt in stuff from Chassis Engineering on my '46 and it works well. Hopefully, you have good luck with it, as well. And, hopefully you can get the rim situation straightened out because those spinner caps look great on the car. Good luck with the move!
Thanks buddy!
Nice looking 39 Chevy. Cheers from Nova Scotia.
I dig the coupe man... I post up videos on my 51 merc and it gets hardly any veiwers.. most of these guys are only here for the plastic... I'm all in for real or plastic..
Same here. I really dig your Merc!
Since I found you videos I've been binge watching! I started a FB group just for pre '49 modeling, I would love to have you join! I tried to post a link but it may not have been TH-cam approvable.
I’m not on Facebook but I’ll sneak on my wife’s account and check it out. Thanks for watching!
You certainly have got a lot going on especially with a dead line to move I’m into the 50s GM cars and don’t think the rims were different on the 55 and 56 Olds therefore if the 55 cap doesn’t fit neither will the 56 cap on your wheel. Olds wheels?Just trying to help
You may be right, but the design is different between the 55 and 56 and th3 56 looks to have less of an inward "dish". So I guess we'll see!
Big or small its all about test fitting to get it right! Could you get some clay or something and put the caps on the 15x7 with clay in between and then measure off the face and see the clearance/depth needed to see if the 15x6s would work? Just a thought
Good thought, with Summit Racing only 20 minutes away, I'll probably just purchase a 15x6 and see if it works. As long as I don't mount them I can return them. I also put tape on the wheel so the cap doesn't scratch the paint on a test fit.
@@HayAuto Yeah being that close is definitely a great resource to have at the ready.
Cool work nice front end swap. Just keep pushing you get it there.
Nice progress. Keep these updates coming. Some of us actually like the real cars too!!!
Awesome update on the 38. Hope you get to drive it this summer. Ron
Very cool! Love seeing the 1:1 stuff. Look forward to more updates.
You're making progress!!
Going to be way Kool when you get it all back together!!! 😎👍
Very cool. Thanks for the update..
I would lose the stripes. The Vette has such beautiful lines and the stripes just are glaring. It's worth surfing the internet for paint ideas. I built one stock and the kit does look great but, sometimes you just waqnt to go the other way and go crazy !
They’re already gone. I just haven’t done an update. Thanks for watching!
