I LOVE Karlach's speech after Gortash. I cry every single time I watch it... Oh, and there is another line, the one I feel harder right in the middle of my chest. If you choose the "Let it out. It's about time." option, she cries "I don't want to die. I want to live. I want to _stay_". I just want someone to give her the BAFTA she deserves, because I love every single character in this game, but no other makes me feel this miserable after each run hahaha

Welcome back!! Can't wait to watch the whole playthrough. I liked this game. But the original still holds top position for me in terms of emotional attachment.

The part when Solas talked about blood magic in this game is actually the opposite of what Solas said in Inquisition. Back in Inquisition, Solas HIMSELF said "Blood magic is just a tool, no different from any other magic" Just as you said. So I think his statements, is either retconning that OR it is more of the "mind controlling" part of the blood magic context we obviously are talking about during the conversation, which of course he abhor. Ofc Solas will never do that as it is against his own principle (freedom). I also think blood magic in itself is fine, as what Dorian said, if it is taken from own blood or with consent. Merrill used her own blood and stuff, so did Jowan. And neither are actually making a pact with demon. I think the point is that both did not wish for "power" in itself, they are good people and just use that magic since there is no alternative (huge amount of lyrium)

I agree about blood magic! One example of using blood magic - the grey wardens. The joining ritual is blood magic. I agree blood magic is a tool that can be used ethically - with consent, already spilled blood, or your own blood. I do wonder where the line is for becoming vulnerable to demons, but my guess is that has more to do with the ethics of the blood mage, and not blood magic inherently.

Blood magic is fine... Aside from all of the pesky sacrificing of innocents for their blood and such 🤣It's really nice to have you back my friend. Your dedication to the RP is going to make this a really great series. Yes, a lot of the companions from the previous games show up, and they used all of the same voice actors to play them.

The two best encounters

SH and Durge fit together perfectly. Both of them have lost most of their memories.

The sequences with the Tav alone and going to bed are definitively different for the Durge. Things are way more sinister and you are afflicted by your unknown past. Also the dark urge is filling your minds.

I would have killed Wulbren. He is a pain in the .... from beginning to the end. He is possessed by power and revenge, because the Ironhands were once thrown out of the city, because they collaborated with the god of murder Bhaal. BTW: Things would have played out a little differently, when a misfortune did not happen in your run in Act 1.

it was the right decision with Wyll. A hard decision, yes, but the right decision. Wyll has earned it to be free of the pakt and not be an eternal slave to the hells. There is also another reason, for Wyll that it is the better decision. But that would be a spoiler.

I rolled a nat 20 on the 99 difficulty roll, it doesn't matter. None of those rolls really matter, tbh. In my playthrough, Karlach volunteered. She said she was dying anyway. After she transformed, she said the infernal heart stopped trying to blow up and she was excited to continue living, albeit as a mind flayer. Broke my heart. In my playthrough I was also Gith. A Paladin, and I went with Bae'zel to liberate the Gith.
