Don’t sell the flyers and complete the quest as soon as possible. My quest started when I bought the house not from finding the body in the graveyard. I ended up giving up defeated and bought / built lake view manor. Much better house with amazing options

Thanks, Didn't expect to inherit a murder scene when buying the Windhelm mansion. Was stuck on the "Stone Quarter" part as i've been chilling out at the gravestones instead of the stories. Very buggy and has taken a few attempts to get through, couldn't trigger the Viola walkthrough etc. Best scenario seems to be to ask Calixto about Amulet and sell it to him for 500 gold and then get it off his body after catching him etc
