Hey, Ghosty - sorry to hear you're having issues with this. When you go to the Dell Drivers page, it should automatically detect your PC. You don't have to have a current support service to obtain drivers. You can bypass 'Let Dell Automatically Find Driver Updates For You' by clicking on 'Manually find a specific driver for your Precision 7520' (that's my PC, but yours will come up if it's different than mine). Then you can search for whatever sound card driver you need. If you have Realtek, search for that. If not, search for the one you have. If you don't know, Click on Start and type 'Device Manager' and click on Device Manager. Go down to the Sound, Video and Game Controllers section and expand it. You will see your sound card listed there - mine is Realtek Audio. Yours might be AMD or something else. Whichever it is, you'll want to search for that driver. @@firewithfire ok so The only audio one that I had was the Realtek and it was a 2017 and I downloaded it, and installed and after resetting and logging back in nothing popped up and i also have to put my Ethernet back on.

@@ghosty6671 Does the sound still not work for you? Also, why did you have to put Ethernet 'back on'? If you aren't able to connect to WiFi and the sound isn't working, here's what I would do: 1. Check Windows for updates 2. If Windows is completely up to date - check for BIOS update I can tell you how to do those, but Google search, or TH-cam search, will also get you the how-to's to complete those action items.

Hey, Picci - sorry, just saw this message. If it occurs on an HP, Lenovo, etc. You can find the Realtek drivers for that by doing a quick Google search. It's basically the same install, just for a different machine. You'll want to search for 'HP Realtek driver' or 'Lenovo Realtek driver', you know - whatever make your machine is. Make sure the site you go to is a legit site for your machine, ie. Dell.com or HP.com, etc. From there, you will get the driver and install. If it's a business laptop/PC, you may need someone with admin rights to download it for you. Hope this helps!

@@firewithfire don’t worry about it I think the integrated audio on my mother board died spent around 42 hours trying to fix it nothing worked

@@shaylaseymour512 Dang - that's a bummer! Sorry to hear that. If you haven't tried this, I recommend uninstalling drivers for the on board mic and then re-installing manually. Make sure Windows and BIOS are up to date first. Re-install the audio driver. Make sure other input devices are detached, or disabled in sound settings, before trying the mic again. Maybe you already did this, but if not it's worth a shot. Good luck!

Glad you were able to figure it all out, bro! Scrambling to save memories can cause some serious anxiety, but you solved the problem and sorted it out - nice job! Moving the files is definitely a slog, but can be sped up by physically connecting via USB-C, or other cable suited to your device. Still though, very nice job ❤😊

@@firewithfire physically connecting USB C to what? The router? I still don't fully know what I am doing, just blagging it. Hoped to download it before free trial ends but doesn't look likely. Once done and I end subscription what happens to my files on one cloud, do they get erased?

LOL - my bad. Connecting your phone to a laptop or PC. That was an assumption on my part 😅 You can sign into OneDrive from office.com. Using the browser/web version is free, but the features are somewhat limited. Maybe I’ll do a brief tutorial on that pretty soon 🤓

Additionally, you can use Google to save pics and video, or even Amazon Prime (which I switched to because Google and OneDrive have limited space before they make you pay, and I already have a Prime account).
