Why Is Satisfactory 1.0 SO AWESOME?!
Satisfactory is one of my favorite games of all time. In this video we will dive into what makes Satisfactory such a great game and why it is so easy to sink hundred of hours into it without feeling like you've even scratched the surface of what the game has to offer. With the 1.0 update of the game being released I though now would be a perfect time to revisit why Satisfactory 1.0 is SO AWESOME?!

The Most Addicting Genre Of Games...
มุมมอง 28K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
Everyone has there own genre of games they find most addicting. In my case those games happen to be factory and automation games like satisfactory and factorio. In this video I will be discussing why factory games are so addicting. I also want to hear your input on what genre of games you find most addicting and why down in the comments. If you enjoyed this video it would mean a lot if you leav...
Nah just build a whole new factory for new parts, no need to tear down anything. There’s plenty of space, just go to the next area when you want to build another part. I completed the game and just had a few different areas. There’s no need to build massive factories, as long as it works it’ll eventually build everything you need.
satisfactory taught me two things ...one that organization makes things less stressful and overwhelming ...and why real world production plants have stuff in odd orders...like groups e and a next to each other rather then a to b to c ...its because of piping...to have it work nicly you throw out labels order and follow the product instead
Cool video. Subbed.
3 tips: - Blueprints: either your own or from the internet. Save time - Explore and find things that will make the game easier (spheres, loops, slugs) and helps take a break from all the math - New MKx Miner? Put a splitter near the miner and make a new branch from there. Not elegant, but effective
dude no need to be so tense ur like rushing the points in the start of the vid give urself some time to breath
Dang Google... How would they know that I need such a video? xD Great video!
LOL is, no contest, their neuroscience hackers will drain you to death if you play this game
My experience tells me that mega factory with central bus will serve you well at any stage of the game. But you shouldn't produce everything in there, only execute the last stages of the production proccess (Meaning: Manufactorers, blenders and higher). Everything less complicated (For the exceptions of wires and screws, you need way too many of those) than that should be produced locally at modular factories around the world and delivered by the means of transportation of your choice.
You know what else is Awesome ? A sink ! (Help me)
This game is what happens when the dev team and the execs care more about the game and the players than just making money. The ONLY thing that would make this game better is Golf!!!!!
would love the long version
There are games made solely to make money and there's games like Satisfactory where they engaged with the community to build something special and all the time adding more and stretching themselves to ever improve when other developers would have long ago said 'its done lets release and cash in'. Satisfactory is a truly special game in a sea of mediocre AAA games and I wish them ever success and hope they continue to build on what they've created.
I am a new player, i would love to see a long video with a tour of your factory just explaining the basics cheers!
Great video!! Satisfactory is indeed freaking awesome
@@TheNerogarden Thanks for watching!
Its a good game. Just blueprints are so weak comparatively to other factory games that the late game recipes feel more a lot more daunting. I get that's a design limitation with the connection points, but its also the fact that they make you build everything in the stupid designers. Also crazy you didn't touch on alternates, I'd argue it's one of this game's best features
Used to be the case that I would burn out quick when playing this game, usually I would quit before or just after unlocking oil, once I made it to tier 7 but after trying to make a train I stopped. However after playing 1.0 I have been really enjoying this game, taking the growth of my factory very slowly and planning out my Mega base along the shoreline, making it look pretty good and giving myself the space to work in a factory that will cover the ocean! Slow progress, but it doesn't matter to me that I have spent 100 hours in my save without even automating computers and heavy modular frames yet.
nice intro, btw u would use those big buildings for factory purposes or they are just for decoration?
Can't speak for him, but people usually do giant factories. Factories grow exponentially in the game, because you get more resources and they need more steps to get to the final product. Só you start with 10 machines in a factory and getting to the endgame you can have hundreds easily.
All of the skyscrapers are just for decoration
Ohhh looks like the cinematic camera mods are working for 1.0. Which one did you use for those awesome shots at the beginning?
To be honest I forget I took them back in update 8 so it’s been like 6 months
Great video but i think you forgot one major thing, the studio. They are so awesome, they love their players and during the whole 5 years of early access they kept the players updated on what is going on, took their feedback and talk to them pretty much every week
Good point!
I love long videos, so if you want to make one: please do
Will do!
i have a feeling this dude likes satisfactory idk...
How did you guess 🤷♂️
A long video would be great!
I’ll start working on one
Love the intro man it gives me good vibes 00:40
Thanks man
@@Ventix. I just wanna watch it over and over again xD
You cant mod 1.0 still. But really they added all the quality of life mods into the basic game I guess unless you're the one making the mod then you could..but the download and just play ones still arent working.
that b-roll in around 1 minute mark is great, I liked that a lot. For the game itself I would agree that it's one of the best factory games out there. One hiccup I've had with performance is when Lumen was turned on, but disabling it made it run like a dream. Also, map improvements for 1.0 are worth to go re-explore the map even if you already did so on u8
Terrible music though
shouldn't be using lumen unless you have a raytracing capable graphics card. That's completely on you not the game
Nice vid very helpful!!
I've been doing really well with other factory games, like dyson sphere program or factorio, but this one has me completely stunned. I am unable to make any meaningful progress and no guide online addresses the issues I'm having.
wait the different starts are all in the same world?
I started playing Satisfactory on day 1. I was burnt out and stopped playing for well over 3 years. I just started playing against on 1.0 and it feels both new and old, very old at the same time. THis time when I play I'm going to play when I feel like it, and stop when I get distracted. Its not supposed to be a full time job.
I've just restarted on grass fields also. Mostly because I know where everything is from my previous play through so I can get through the milestones quicker. I'll branch out into other areas when I need to and there's quite a lot of water in a neighbouring biome not too far away.
The other three bioms are on the east side of the map. While the grass fields are on the other side of the mountain range and that is why im starting over in the grassy fields.
Dune desert but I gonna beeline coal power. Might build my biggest factories on the sea near the desert biome, because nothing is as flat as the sea in satisfactory.
Grasslands start because it has the legs rock to turn into a big robot holding the space elevator.
The main problem I have with Satisfactory is that there are no actual enemies in the game like factorio so the game just comes down to grinding for the sake of grinding. Plus all the nodes are infinite which means you never have to go out to find more resources which means you basically never have to change your factory up unless you just simply want a new resource line.
Love your videos man keep them coming
Rocky Desert will have 3 new coal nodes near the water. You got 4 pure iron nodes, 2 normal copper nodes, 2 (I think) pure limestones and 1 caterium pure node also. Sulfur and Quartz I think will be nerf in this area in 1.0.
Does anyone know the exact time full releases for Western time zone? I like the other northern forest built spot that you did not show
I believe it’s come out at 8am west coast time
@@Ventix. thanks 😁😁
I’m actually starting in the Northern Forest this time; it’s the only start biome I haven’t done before. I found a little hollow with pure iron, pure copper, and pure limestone, so that’s a really good place to set up a beginning factory. I’ll probably expand into the Maze Canyons, Lake Forest, and Crater Lakes.
Think I naturally found this exact spot lol
You need to build larger hypertube cannons if you've never been that high😂
Biggest problem with grass fields is the lack of water. As for the dune desert, there's a nice oasis with plenty of biomass that makes for a good start. Biggest drawback? No oil close by. The new rocky desert now has coal up in the NW corner (for that first coal plant and steel factory), the oil fields to the S are still there, too. Plenty of water all over the place, and even a fairly convenient bauxite up on the cliffs. I think it's the best start these days.
I wish the map was at least mirrored to keep it fresh.
con on the grass plain is the manta ore is going to be balanst
I start in grasslands for nostalgia
Every new start I do at a different biome. I've done the grass and desert.. will do either of the forests in 1.0
desert biome: There is another lake in the center of this biome where you can find plenty of biomass. I often start at the desert and I have never problems with biomass. There is lots of wood on ground in the center oasis.
