Not bad, glad you enjoyed it. What a beautiful place you leave in.
I like how you always show the bathrooms too😂
I usually rate them 😂
I think McDonald’s needs to sponsor you 😂
Why won't it let me tag McDonald's
Oh man, now I feel I need to add this hike to my bucket list.
It's a good one! Save it for shoulder season
I really want to go to Stehekin one day! It’s on my list. Mainly for the pastries 😅
It's so worth it!
There is no way I’d be using that exposed toilet😳
I guess if you really gotta go 😂
Omg!! The campground!! Holy moly!!😳😳😳
It was huge! I wish I had done a walk through of the campground for the second night.
Omg! The rattler. So glad you didn’t have a bad encounter😬
Dude was more scared of me than I was of him I think lol
@@GreenOutdoorsPNW Well that’s definitely good😅
@@MikhaelaBrydeni didn't die!
Great video! I've always wanted to visit there, I've studied the lore.
Thank you! It's a pretty neat hike! Great for shoulder season.

Great video. Interesting music choice on the ride up. I'm glad you fellas are enjoyin yourselves out there. I really miss it up there.
Thank you sir!
"That's a big ass tree!"
I think that's my go too for everything that's big 😂
YEP, they got big ol trees up yonder. I miss it. Not enough to live there again, but enough to go wander that again. It's like you're just waiting for a dinosaur to show up, it's so undisturbed.
@@abeljones9943 it's wild!
Omg you can see right through that pit toilet off the trail 😳
No privacy there 😂
@@GreenOutdoorsPNW Definitely not!
There are only 4 privys in that entire 14 mile stretch of trail; otherwise you are squatting over a cat hole behind a tree.
@@tailgunnerhikes4703 true!
@@tailgunnerhikes4703 I’d rather squat behind a tree😅
10:29 Such a good shot!!
I agree!
Omg!!! The shot of the black bear!!! So cool!
He was actually like 200 feet away lol the zoom lens came in clutch
@@GreenOutdoorsPNW You have an amazing zoom on that camera!!
@@MikhaelaBryden it comes in handy 😂

We just went too. Such a beautiful place. Too many things to see on just a 4 day trip! And have to love those ladders lol.
I definitely want to go again! Did you do the confluence? I was nursing a foot injury so I wasn't able too.
@@GreenOutdoorsPNW No, this was our very first backpacking trip despite doing many day hikes and despite all the preparation, that would have pushed us slightly beyond our limits for this one. We went to beaver though. Plus the obvious closer ones which we were blown away by their beauty. Hopefully if we are able to go back one day, then the confluence.
Looks like a lot of fun! If you were to do this again, would you do the full hike? or turn back at any point?
Just noting for myself: 4:00 Pink Canyon 26:15 Upper Beaver falls 30:18 Waterfalls 32:28 Mooney falls 33:24 Caves - descending into Mooney falls 35:43 Lower Mooney falls 38:27 Lower Beaver falls
Yup, EPIC does describe this. Hope to visit some day. Thanks for sharing. Just noting for myself:
You will! I believe it
The pizza you guys had looked amazing! & I’m so glad I was able to meet you all on this trip! Such a fun time!
The sauce was terrible and ruined it 😭 It was almost like they were running out of sauce so they just added water lol
@@GreenOutdoorsPNW Whaaaatt?! Really?! Awe, that sucks. It looked so good in the video!
I wish I could have stayed in Arizona longer so I could explore more like you did!
There's always next time!
Nice video my friend! Beautiful waterfall!!!
Thank you friend!
Such a beautiful area!
The water color is stunning! & You’re so brave for getting in! I’m sure it was freezing!
Ooooh 4:54 shot was so good!
The washout was what has prevented me from going. I thought it was further back from the trailhead.
Blanca Lake has been on my list for a couple of years now!
Peanut butter egg burger???!
Love the outfits!
All of that food looks amazing!!
Love the sound of the waterfalls! So peaceful and relaxing 😌
The foggy forest looks so beautiful!
Looks like you had a good time with your friends!
I’ve never heard of a trail pizza! It looks good though!
It's an adult lunchable!
I didn’t know that Cape Flattery was owned by an Indian Tribe!
Absolutely
The ocean wildlife is so cool to see!!
Ooooh! I love that you can actually have a fire there! It looks like a great camping spot!
It’s sad to see so much garbage there!
A lot of it is washed up from the ocean. We found water bottles in asian languages, Russian, etc. It's pretty crazy how bad it is :(
Oh dang. Awe, just so sad!
Is it pronounced “shy-shy” or “she-she”? I always thought it was “she-she”! But now I hear you pronouncing it “shy-shy”😂 I’m sure yours is right though since you’re a native to the area😅
It's shy shy! I got it wrong until I was corrected
Good to know!
What I neglected to mention is that in spite of being an octogenarian, I am not yet out of the game. I still shoulder a backpack and head for the hills. 😃
I wanna be like you when I grow up! Love it
I hiked in to Josephine in the very early 60s with my brother. As you might guess I am now a very senior citizen, but I always remember this lake since it was the first back pack I ever did.
That's awesome! I hope this video brought back good memories for you.
Great video, well done friend keep it up
Thank you!
Breathtaking thumbnail my friend, what a stunning place!

Title: “Neon Bonfire: '80s Hits Ignite the Night” Synopsis: In the heart of a forgotten forest, where ancient trees whisper secrets and stars twinkle like sequins, a clandestine gathering awaits. The Neon Bonfire-an underground phenomenon-draws rebels, misfits, and leg-warmer-clad warriors. But this isn’t your average dance-off. It’s a battle for rhythm supremacy, where every spin, every moonwalk, could rewrite history. Review: ★★★☆☆ “Neon Bonfire: '80s Hits Ignite the Night” transports us to a realm where nostalgia and neon collide. Director Axel “Synthwave” Steele crafts a dance odyssey that pulses with retro beats and hairspray fumes. The opening shot: a clearing bathed in neon hues, the bonfire roaring like a cassette tape on repeat. Our hero, Vinyl Vortex (played by the enigmatic Cassette Jones), steps into the fray-a leather-jacketed rebel with a boombox heart. His mission? To groove, to defy gravity, and to out-dance destiny. The crowd-part cyborg, part glam rock deity-sways to the rhythm of forgotten anthems. DJ Retroblast (a cameo by the legendary DJ Laserbeam) spins vinyl like a sorcerer, summoning basslines that resurrect shoulder pads and memories. The air crackles with anticipation, and leg warmers catch fire from friction. But danger lurks. The rival faction-the Glitter Gladiators-wants the bonfire extinguished. Their leader, Lady Luminescence (a mesmerizing turn by Nova Nova), wields glowstick nunchucks. Her signature move? The “Stardust Shuffle,” which leaves opponents dazzled and disoriented. As Vinyl Vortex glides deeper into the party, he uncovers a plot: the bonfire is a portal to the “Rewindverse.” Whoever controls it gains dominion over dance moves, perms, and MTV music videos. The stakes rise faster than a synth solo. The dance battles are electric. Breakdancers spin like vinyl records, flinging glitter grenades. Roller-skating ninjas duel under disco balls. And Vinyl Vortex? He moonwalks through laser beams, his mirrored sunglasses reflecting both danger and defiance. The climax-a dance-off atop the bonfire-defies gravity and sanity. Vinyl Vortex faces Lady Luminescence in a showdown of pirouettes and pop-locking. Sparks fly, both literally and metaphorically. The crowd chants, “Dance or fade away!” as embers rise. And then-the ultimate move. Vinyl Vortex channels the spirit of Michael Jackson, unleashing the “Thriller Slide.” The Rewindverse trembles. Lady Luminescence dissolves into pixels, her leg warmers fading like old VHS tapes. As dawn breaks, Vinyl Vortex stands victorious. The Neon Bonfire flickers, its flames a testament to rebellion and rhythm. The forest will forget, but we won’t. Because in the heart of the '80s, where cassette tapes echo and leg warmers never die, legends are born on the dance floor. Verdict: A glitter-soaked, synth-fueled spectacle that’ll make you want to dust off your Walkman and dance till sunrise!
I love this 😂😂😂😂😂

Looked like a great hike! Looking forward to your next trip
thank you brother!
That kind of looks like you submitted the true summit and not the false summit. No biggie but it's hard to tell with the snow.
I'm not sure what you mean.
