What part of the pct is that?

Looking brown out there. Couldn't believe how lush the PCT throughout socal looked earlier this spring.

This really is a nice hike. Whitewater has very nice facilities, parking, clean restrooms and shady picnic area. Just know that the trail is 100% exposed - zero tree cover / in the middle of a desert. Go early, not in summer! Bring water, Sun protection, hat and snacks.

Has the trail always been laid out with the rocks like that? I need to get up in there more often obviously. Great video, I recall you up in there in the Spring time I think

Using the rv as a base camp is an awesome idea! Such a challenging year on the PCT! If you are able to work out the logistics you will be the envy of the other hikers! Happy trails!
