This absolutely happens but very rare , I don’t do much coin hunting as I rarely have the time but I’ll never forget the first time I coin roll hunted I got 4 customer wrapped half dollar rolls that the bank teller had in her drawer and I gave her in cash and we swapped. Went home and opened them and every single coin was a 40% Kennedy Half. That was a great day!

It's crazy how the 'pandemic' accelerated coin searching. It won't ever be as good as this... I have memories when silver was less than $10 and you could find 2-3 90%'ers per roll it seemed.

I always have a problem with the poured silver bars. I could never get a nice dimple on top of a loaf bar like the old Johnson Matthey poured bars have.

I hunt half dollar rolls anytime i can find them, and i have NEVER had a score like that! I had a long run of skunk boxes, but found a 1954 Benji, and a 1967 Kennedy in my last box. Those little finds are what keep me going! Ive had good luck with dimes, finding an average of two silvers per $250 box. Congratulations on your good fortune! 😊😊😊

40% silver is pretty good, those pre 65 coins with 90% silver aren't as easy. I said pre 65 just because they changed ot in July of 65 but I honestly don't know exactly when they started minting the 40%, could have been 66.
