Track Day in my Daily Driver 1998 Honda Accord
Did a shakedown with my Daily Driver Honda Accord at Streets Of Willow with SlipAngleTrackEvents!
Lap Time: 1:31.84
Missed the morning session and the weather got hot pretty quick, either way had fun driving the Accord! Little underwhelming but no surprise there, 3000lb car that makes 135HP to the crank. Drove home with A/C so that's nice lol

2.5 Inch Exhaust
Hot Air Intake
Wheels: 17X7.5 +40 (Squared Setup)
Tires: 225/45R17 Falken Azenis RT615K+
Reverse Stagger will be next for more rotation
Brakes:
Front - R1 Concepts Sport Pads
Rear - Stock Drums
The Stock Calipers and Rotors are too small, so they fade pretty easily after 3-4 laps, will upgrade to V6 brakes front and rear
Suspension:
Progress Lowering Springs that i got for free lol
Megan Racing Silver RS Shocks from Offer Up for $80 for all 4
Megan Racing Adjustable Front Camber Arm
GodSpeed Adjustable Rear Camber Arm
Rear Acura TL-S 20MM Sway Bar

Any plans on slapping a turbo on it? I have a q50 3.0tt and a 98 accord but i’m more interested in modding the accord at the moment🤣 Car seems like it could be super fun on the track

Does that tire setup rub at all? Ive been trying to figure out if i can fit 225 but its already pretty tight with 205. Fenders are rolled.
Depends on your ride height and camber settings. I ran -3.5 Front and -2.3 Rear 0 Toe all around

My top speed was 103MPH on main straight

Thanks! No p/s unfortunately and stock DX rack. Planning to upgrade to the Integra DC2 steering rack with a proper p/s delete.
Dude . I been watching your vids and that b20 has been holding up . Whats the secret man? How is this eco motor taking this ass whooping on the track likenthis
Haha the secret is… jk there’s no secret I just use Walmart Supertech 10W-40 Oil, I put all 5 quarts in. I change it every track day. You HAVE TO do valve adjustments every 2-3 track days due to fact that B20’s are SUV motors so they’re aren’t meant to rev high. The motor itself is all stock with just Bolt-Ons, a proper tune is a must for reliability.
how much did it cost you to go?
It’s about $140-160 for the whole day. It’s a lot of time on track!

At around 0:14, it kind of looks like you're reaching for what would be a hydraulic e-brake, only in this car there isn't. I'm assuming maybe muscle memory from drifting perhaps or driving a car with a hydraulic e-brake. Am I correct in my assumption?
I actually was about to downshift to keep the revs up as I was sliding but I hesitated. I can definitely see what you said haha, that was a good assumption! I have drifted in RWD cars as well

I know how you feel. I have a '97 RS Integra and Im a paraplegic so I have to use one hand the whole time cause I need one hand on my gas/brake hand controls. My arm gets so tired so fast.

How did you keep it so smooth through the corner most fwd are always so jerky but you kept it sideways good after Initiating the drift
I think it was the angle and not a lot of counter steer
