What are your thoughts now after having it a couple years? I hear the build quality is not that great and parts of the helmet come off/break easily like the trim and plastic pieces. And from one review the user said when it rained it seeped through the visor seal and made it fog up...How are the cheek pads now, are they still decently firm? I'm deciding between this and Shoei RF-1400. You mentioned in a previous comment that you like this much more than the 1200, how so?
Still using it. It has held up. Cheek pads are still good. No leaks. The visor button is loosened up but still works. Nothing is broken, helmet still lives. All in all nothing to complain about. I did give it to a friend to try, he thought it was a cheap product because of how light it is lol, said it was like cheap china plastic lol. I havn't tried RF 1400 which I probably gonna do in future. Don't worry about this falling apart, it has lasted me till now with heavy use.

I had to return mine and get a rf1400 the chin guard was way to close to my chin/mouth nose, yours looks close too I felt like if I went down with it I’d be breaking my nose/ jaw immediately no matter what. This is best for round head shape I have an intermediate oval shape. I was very disappointed, the k6 is super light weight and love the looks, also got it during a winter sale, so I wanted it to work really bad. With my shape head the rf1400 is the one for me

hey avg joe - thx for a good review; I am real interested to purchase this helmet - most of the reviews say its excellent, except for center visor button and noise. You say you can push that center visor button and it releases fine every time with one hand? that would be a deal breaker if that button is cheap and does not work properly. thx again
Button works fine for me. You have to get used it. You have to push the center button and lift on the visor ledge at same time. You will learn to do it after some practice.
I will still prefer this because it a really important safety feature found on motogp helmet visors. It locks visor and prevents it from opening in event of a crash.

No you can't remove it like a sticker. It's painted.
Nice review. I bought two K6s. One in white and also a Nardo grey. I use a clear visor on the white and a smoke on the Nardo for sunny days. Beautiful helmet. By the way I bought mine from Champion helmets in the Netherlands with a 1/2 off visor - express shipped, and duties and taxes all in for <$600 CDN.
You are very lucky that in Europe the prices of motorcycle gear is low. We have to pay very high prices in Canada and there is rarely any discounts.
@@MacRiderOfficial MacRider. I’m in Vancouver actually. So a ferry away from you. I looked at FortNine and thought the pricing was ridiculous. I’ve also recently sourced a pair of Merlin boots from the UK for almost 100$ cheaper than TCX here in Vancouver. I’ve bought Hood jeans as well AAA rated from the UK. There are some decent deals to be had. Don’t be afraid to ship from Europe.

I also bought a k6 from champion helmets. I have some questions if you don’t mind. I’m in the states but does it come with a DOT rating I wouldn’t think so because it’s sold in Europe. I know that ece and sharp is much better than DOT just asking. How long did you have to wait. I ordered the express shipping. Did you have to pay any more extra?
@@IlIlIlllIlIlIllli Not sure abut DOT tbh - ECE is a better test over DOT and accepted in Canada so iwasnt bothered if it was on the helmet or not. Express shipping was extra $50 roughly - ordered it on a saturday and was at my house on Wednesday! I think if its sold in North America they put a DOT sticker on it. Revzilla says Dot and ECE approved. You may just not have the sticker

Its more suited to oval heads,,,but you should try it on first,,,test it yourself.

A good initiative to also film this part of WW2. I saw Sikh soldiers once in "The English patient" and "1917". As historians we want to see the whole picture and this is also a very important aspect of it.

I am in Ontario Canada and I bought my new K6 Rush from Fortnine. I got it today. The size chart said I was an L but I bought a XXL and I have to say, I can just barely force my giant head into the thing. It hurts too. It bends my ears down on the way in and I can't get fingers inside to push them back up. The padding is so tight that it smooshes my cheeks into my eyes. If I pull it downward very hard, I can get it a little lower and it helps but I wear prescription glasses so I'm concerned that the padding will hit the frames. I haven't tried to get my glasses on inside this helmet yet. The tag and the box says XXL on it but holy heck, it's super tight. I have to ask, was yours tight at first? Did it get looser and more comfortable as you wore it? Also, out of the box, mine had a small scuff on the very top and a 2.5" long scratch on the left side center. I sure was not happy to see that after paying so much money for it. I also bought the iridium gold visor thinking it would look like bright chrome gold. It doesn't. It's very dark and you can hardly tell it's gold at all. I think I should have gone for the silver after all. Maybe it'll look better outside in daylight.
Hi, yes one absolutely needs to try on this helmet before buying as the sizing is complex. Then again there are different helmets better suited to different shape of heads. For me the fit was perfect. The helmet has not loosened up much since I bought it, its almost the very same fit. I only have the clear visor with pinlock,,no coloured visors,,so I can't comment on tinted visors. Problem is not many dealers/stores carry this helmet in Canada to try on sizes and no way to see the tinted visors. If you are unhappy with the purchase warranty & returns stuff is dealt through your dealer or store. Hope it works out for you.
Also there were no scuffs or scratches on my helmet when I opened it. You can see unboxing video.

Halifax is a great place,,housing and things still affordable compared to BC (where I live) but prices are slowly and steadily increasing in Halifax too.
It's also not crammed and packed like big metros.

Hi, the movie has been delayed due to covid 19. Funding was stopped. There is no estimated release date. Project is still unfinished. Hopefully it will be released someday..... I fixed the website link.
