The Battle of Bushy Run 1763 - Pontiac's War | Total War Cinematic Military History
The Battle of Bushy Run took place on August 5-6, 1763, during Pontiac's Rebellion. It was fought near present-day Harrison City, Pennsylvania, between a British column led by Colonel Henry Bouquet and a combined force of Delaware, Shawnee, Mingo, and Huron warriors.
The British were marching to relieve the besieged Fort Pitt when they were ambushed by Native American forces. Despite suffering serious losses, Bouquet's troops managed to hold their ground and eventually routed the tribesmen, securing a British victory. This was crucial in relieving Fort Pitt and maintaining British control over the frontier.
