I have to say that this is what we all should do every few years . I completed a course years ago in England Lancashire with the police . Roads are busyer than ever before . I am starting to train to get my advanced licence . I think that its never to late to take up training . Go for it youve nothing to loose. Great stream 👍👍👍👍from Galway
Isnt the GT a bette roption for this weight? What do you think?
There are so many options of tyres for the GS. These were just my choice, and so far, I'm more than happy with their performance.
@@photobiker4309 yes of course, just woundering. I read a lot of gt is better for bigger bikes and last longer etc
But the miler it’s very expensive 1300€ !!!!!!! Why
not cheap, but they look so much better than the stock exhaust and sounds better too.
Just found your channel...Nice setup. Have you got a headlight protector? It looks fabulous, you must be proud
I went with the Ammo guard from A Bike Thing for the headlight protector. Hard to really notice. abikething.com/product/a-bike-thing-ammo-guard-headlight-protection/
I just did the same on my bike. Even routed the wiring similar to yours. I have them at 10% for the brake running light, and 0% for the turn signal running light. Then 40% brightness for the brake application. they are still super bright. Good kit, except for the license plate brackets, mine were impossible to screw together adequately.
I drilled holes in my license plate to fit the lights. Added some washers and all good. But, yeah, it's a bit of work.
Woooowww la última
That BMW driver was an accident waiting to happen, no wonder you got ahead of him, I would have done the same. What bike have you?
With some drivers, it's just a lot safer to get ahead of them, and out of the way. I'm on a 1250GS.
Really appreciate you taking the time to do these videos 👍 Very informative. The snippets of advice from AGS are great also. Most bikers are already in their own head space anyway, makes sense to plan ahead and talk yourself through a lot of your route. I recently did my IBT and I'm scheduled to pick up my new bike in the coming days. As a means of getting out and getting time in the saddle and out on the roads I plan take part in the photo rallies and travel to each of the points around the country by only using the roads I can legally use as a provisional license holder. If you see a fella out of a T7 World Raid with a high vis L vest, give me a wave 👋
Best of luck with the new bike. Good biking community so you should get a wave from most bikers. ;-) Just remember, riding a bike is a lot more mentally taxing than driving a car, so remember to take breaks on any long rides. Otherwise, have fun out there.
@@photobiker4309 its going to a lot more than just mentally taxing for me due to other medical issues but I used to ride (30yrs ago) Now is the right time in my life to get back out there 👍
my worry is it going off unexpected. Has this ever happened to anyone ?
The Gardaí might start out by obeying the rules of the road themselves. The arrogant disregard for other road users by many Gardaí is disgusting.
Gardai on duty are exempt from the rules of the road, for the most part. Personally, I've never seen any disregard for other road users by them. You also don't know when they are responding to some incident, since they don't always put on lights and sirens, for obvious reasons.
@@photobiker4309 Comissioner Harris gave a direct order to all Gardai to obey the rules of the road. Gardai who do not do so are Wilfully disobeying an order. If you have not witnessed arrogant driving by Gardai you must be blind. As to responding to incidents: Gardai have killed and maimed innocent people whilst responding to very minor incidents. (not that you or they care)
@@photobiker4309 my response was deleted
@@photobiker4309 do you know or care how many innocent people have been killed or maimed by Garda drivers?
@@fintonmainz7845 do tell. Please add a link to the data. I'm curious. There are a crazy high number of road deaths in the last few years, so anything to improve safety, like BikeSafe, is more than welcome. On any given day when I'm out on the road (on bike or in the car), I see things that are very dangerous. People using their phones is the most common, as well as people changing lanes without looking, etc. I think the way we teach car drivers is poor. There could be a lot of small things done that would help basic driving skills.
Really good video 👍👏 I've been riding since I was 17 and now 66. And I've always ridden with the attitude everyone is out to kill me 😂
Thanks for sharing and fair dues to our police who give up their time to share road craft. Lucky with the weather and even luckier to get a slot on the BikeSafe course…👍
Thankfully I got a slot on the say it was released. Have to keep the eyes peeled when they announce. Last time I did it ... nasty wet weather.
riding these tyres for a couple years on GS and R, after many years on Michelin Pilot. They are better than the michelins, best tyre Ive ridden so far.
Hi. Don't try another tyres..nothing better than Continental
In Northern Ireland I see cyclists using the footpath all the time while the psni ignore it. So it must be much stricter in the south?
Didnt know motorcycles can use the bus lanes
by the letter of the law, you can't, however, the only time you'll have an issue is in the event of an accident. I used to commute to Dublin city daily and passed many a Garda stopping cars in the bus lane, but I've never been stopped. As we were advised on the BikeSafe, it's safer to be in an empty lane than to be stuck between cars.
This is some BS… how many are killed around city’s ? It’s primary roads.. if ya can’t manage around a city forget about it.. go to i2i or somewhere you will actually learn how to handle a bike.
learning to handle a bike is all well and good but learning roadcraft is better
If you watched - we were in the city, on national roads and motorway. We covered all class of roads on the ride. Plus, in the city, it's also about others - pedestrians, cyclists, busses, vans, and cars. Plenty of incidents of motorbikes hitting pedestrians or cyclists. City riding is also an important skill, as is slow speed manoeuvring in traffic.
@@photobiker4309 the best €45 euro you ever spent so
I2i is excellent at bike control but is not Roadcraft. The guards do weeks or training and it’s all about lifting your vision, observations positioning..all to keep you safe. Unfortunately the bikers who all should go on this don’t… well done on your second bikesafe. Suggest you do one outside of Dublin next time ..a total different experience
Great video pal , commentary was great too! I have mine booked for August this year and looking forward to it. He doesn’t have walkie talkies by the sound of it he just indicates and you’re meant to be keeping an eye on that to know where you’re going? 🤔
Love the sound and volume of the Millers, but that price. Omg. My 23 seems louder than that stock set.
FYI, your vest subscription will not be cancelled randomly. In&Motion has publicly stated they will give 30 days notice before disabling service or you can buy it outright.
True, not randomly, but if you've an issue, it can be ended, or if you miss the 30 day notice email.
What chest size r u, looking for one
I installed the toolbox and removed the rear mudgard as instructed, has yours been a problem with the mudguard on? Does it rubs?
This is the type of video that Denali should’ve made instead of their pointless montage. Thank you.
Good video. I've recently fitted a SW-Motech Pro Tank Ring and Micro Tank Bag to my CB1000R. Top quality. Perfect for my needs.
Mine did this when the battery was weak. Put it on a battery tender overnight and now it cranks fine. This cold spell we just had is hard on motorcycle batteries. Hope you got it running.
Thanks
Try a Puig windscreen if you ride in cold weather a lot. I just replaced the factory windscreen with a light smoke Puig. What a difference. It protects a lot better from the wind. Looks great too. P.S. I wish I had an ability to turn off the low beam headlight whrn riding at daytime. The lit X looks very cool without the headlight on.
Cool! It's an interesting concept. Remember reading about it in a magazine when they first came out. 😎
In my first year of riding bikes my Helite gives me confidence and some peace of mind whilst I'm learning. Expensive yes but what price safety. Great presentation.
Sir can 5'7 ride this What's the seat height?
I am 6'1. My bike is standard, and I can flat foot. But, BMW do a low suspension model GS, which, combined with the low seat would be perfect for you. I've a friend your height (he's 5'6) and he has a lowered suspension GS and he finds it perfect. A youtube example - th-cam.com/video/2FpV718GWV8/w-d-xo.html
I have a question, your pannier racks look like stock BMW racks, does Bumot make cases that fit the stock racks? I'm asking because I just bought a GSA and I have Bumot panniers from my Suzuki Vstrom.
Yeah, Bumot make panniers that fit the standard BMW GSA stock rack.
I guess it's a replace the racks or the panniers type of deal...@@photobiker4309
Where did you get the license plate cover?
Well you’ve got the warmth, but we’re a bit dryer 🤠
The weather suddenly changed, and now it's freezing. Potential snow, but definitely icy roads.
yup, i am the first to commet. the climate looks great
I have the same Bumot cases on my GSA too. Tell me about the straps you've added to the side case.
The handle straps came from my old BMW GS panniers. bmw.europe-moto.com/gb/pannier-and-rear-racks-moto-bmw-motorrad/2601-bmw-carry-handle-for-motorcycle-pannier-and-top-case-alu.html
Thanks for sharing brother 🤠
Nice vlog , thanks for taking me a long, brother 🤠
Super...!!!!
The last one is MAD MAX!
Should have had your choice of tires..at least Ankees...I didi.
Great review thanks. Can you just unplug the camera from USB power while recording?
While not advisible, it does seem to write-out the file recording so doesn't cause corruption when you suddenly remove power.
Not sure how I feel about this. War should not be an amusement park ride. War should not be thought of as fun.
I agree. But, for those of us who have served, it gave a small sample of what they may have experienced. Yes, knowing it's just a simulator makes very light of it. We laughed and joked. But, anything that is used to show and discourage war can only be a positive thing, to save others from having to give their lives.
How cool is that? I was there for the 74th anniversary. Were you there for all the re-enactments?
Nope, we were travelling around, so only saw a few bits. Great to see so many re-enactors around.
@@photobiker4309 it's class.
Good video quality. Question: I read sometimes on the internet that their is a time gap between the clips when you do a long record. Because the moment when it is saving the ....minutes clip it can`t record at the same time. Do you have the same experience, or is this problem solved by insta. I want to buy the 360 and used as an dashcam in loopmode, but it makes no sence if it has timegaps with no record between the clips. Can you give your opinion about my question.
I've only used it for short-ish clips, up to 20 min. I've never noticed a buffering/delay in saving when shooting. I've never tried filling a card and leaving it on loop. Sorry if that's not helpful.
very nice bike. I was really close to buying one but I quit it as eventually I was looking more into touring.
They are a great bike, but definitely not a touring bike.
@@photobiker4309 I'm used to touring on non touring bikes ;) But I think this one might be on another level ;) cheers mate
Hello, a question for you. How did you get the lettering "INNOVV" from the picture. Cropped video or changed something in the software. Can't find anything on My Innovv where I can turn off this logo. Thank you and greetings from Austria
It's in the software. In the settings, turn OFF the Video Marker tab.
@@photobiker4309 thanks, i found it 😀😀😀
I like this bike but I don’t have money to buy it 😂😂😂😂. Congrats bro 🤙🤙🤙

my new bike
No heated seat?
When the audio is this poor (drop out, NOISE, etc) consider scrapping the video, or do a voice over in the comfort of your home away from the wind. THAT video I would watch. Hope this helps you get more positive results.
nice !! ordered my trophy .. I wondered which colour panniers would go with the trophy .. already got aluminium , did you wire the extra lights yourself ? if not where did you get them done please. I'm east coast as well. thanks
I actually wired them myself. It was fiddly to run the cables, but just took time and a bit of effort. The wiring looms had all the connectors needed. I bought all lights from A Bike Thing in the UK. All I had to do was run the cables and then connect the Hex ezCan to the battery.
@@photobiker4309 good job ... I watched the video of “a bike thing “ when he wired it up .. don’t thing I have the confidence to pull apart the bike just yet ..
@@halfarsedbiker I started to pull it apart, and then realised that I didn't need to. Only remove a few of the small ones, and then just find the routing gap up to the front of the bike, along the frame. In fairness, most bike mechanics would be able to do it for you. Just ask your local dealer or mechanic.
