Sweet hat! Checkout Macullum Pool at Mosman sometime- another ferry ride. Happy lunar new year! - lots happening in China/Thai/Korea Town this weekend!
I really appreciate another glimpse of your life in Sydney. May I ask if you have already found a job? And I hope I do not come off as obnoxious by constantly making you compliments but I really like your outfit. And your ears. Dear Lord, your ears are my weak spot - lol. 😊
Working on myself is a full time job! You can keep the compliments coming 😆 I’m only joking :) thank you for the ear compliment!
@timsimsworldWell, that‘s for sure. Working on yourself is definitely a time consuming task! Can confirm - haha. Keep us updated on your travels!
Tim, you should wear a panama hat for a change. You will be more handsome than Paul Mescal.😊
🤣 I’ll have to add it to my hat collection
It's not good to drink sugary drinks on a hot day unless it was a sugar free coke. Good to see you're enjoying the place. Sydney is too humid for me. Grew up there but prefer Melbourne. My school had a campus in kirribilli but I think they moved awhile back. Lots of the Rich in the inner suburbs, with some amazing houses and incredible views. Luckybarstards Still, I wouldn't swap for growing up in the Blue Mountains 💙.
It was Cole zero sugar! Sydney is very humid, can’t catch a break. Kirribilli is amazing…I would love to live there. I have yet to visit the blue mountains, will do that soon 😊 thanks for watching
nice to see you are enjoying sydney...at least it was not too hot today :)
Not too hot today! But it’s still enough to burn me a little ahh thanks for watching
@timsimsworld slip slop slap as the aussies say lovie ;) nice to see you out and about.
Re Christmas songs sung by Filipinos: We sing, "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones I used to know" as if we know what a white Christmas is. :) It's because we simply love, love, love Christmas.
Nice!
Lol, your voice is not annoying. I’m enjoying your videos, I love seeing your walks. Don’t let the young un’s intimidate you. Lol. 😀🇨🇦💚
Thank you ! I’ll do be a walking tour video soon actually so stay tuned for that :)
La Perouse is closed to city too, 20mins drive with no traffic, beautiful nature place.
Haven't been to the Contemporary art Museum since 1996. It was alot bigger back then and it had a giant Kunst dog made of Flowers 💐
Cool! This week I spent 4 days visiting the art gallery of NSW. By the end of it I got paranoid the staff were recognising me 🤣🤣
@timsimsworld they probably think you're sniffing out employment lol
@timsimsworld i grew up in the Blue Mountains so I know alot of Sydney. But i now live on the Mornington Peninsula.
You‘re such a handsome guy! Keep us updated on Australia. How was the speed dating?
Ah thank you! I’m blushing ☺️ I will keep you updated on Australia, it’s just the weather was awful this week so I could barely go outside.
Bantayan Island, Siquijor, Anda Beach and Camiguin are better.
The fires in LA have nothing to do with climate change
And that would be your truth 💜
@ I assume your comment is. A condescending “yes it is comment.” Firstly I did not say there is no climate change. Secondly sitting on our hands and doing nothing to prepare for it is stupid. Thirdly cutting the fire department budget, not clearing the Forrest floor roadsides and parks of tinder, DEI recruitment programs, emptying of dams and other outrageous storage decisions are the cause of the fires.
Love the hat! U can get a uv long sleeved shirt as well.
The hat is fab 👒!
I hope this new 'dating ' app isnt another Grindr...Also how did you arrange for this speed dating? I wouldnt mind trying it because Im not a 'photogenic' person when it comes to dating apps
I will only go to the networking 😊 I was invited by the organisers. I’ll let you know how it goes!
Come to Melbourne's National Arts Gallery in St. Kilda Rd and Federation Square. It's huge and beautiful !
Thanks for the recommendation!
Slap on a hat
He nearly got it right. I was the one who informed him of the number of things he discussed in this video so at least Tim Sims takes notice !
Nearly!? 🤣 but at least I tried!!
@timsimsworld no shade Tim (pardon the pun)🤣
Great to explore these sites and having dishes out information 😆
Welcome to Syd!
Im watching a lot of vlogger in the PH you are the only one showed this bamboo bridge
What on earth possessed you to come here in summer???
When I find out I’ll tell you!!!
The higher skin cancer rates can also be attributed to the majority of fair skinned people who live here. I wear a broad brimmed drovers hat when I'm bush walking and also long sleeves. Anyway, enjoy the summer sun.
Very true! Thank you for watching :)
You blend in with other Aussies being sun smart. The hat looks great. The Cancer Council website and stores have lots of invaluable products for sun protection here in Aus
“Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun”….Nöel Coward..
Fashion be damned - you look Australian! Well done!
Lovely.
Haha, the birds aren't angry, they're just rowdy 🤣
Very rowdy haha
I love the hat and the sunglasses. I would definitely put a ring on it, haha!
You should!
Looking forward to more of these! Great video Tim 😊
Awesome, thank you!
Enjoy Sydney, my hometown. Its a nice place but like everywhere has its negatives also. Many layers of history in the area at North Head, including some hate violence just a few decades ago, highlighted in a recent commission of inquiry.
There's no hole in the ozone layer over Australia. (Just another urban myth). Get a full size straw hat with a large brim. You'll be fine. Just ditch the baseball cap (totally useless) for sun protection. Always carry a backpack with plenty of water containers and snacks, water that can be refilled for free. Please don't do the US thing and buy expensive water in plastic bottles, then throw them away. Single use of plastic is discouraged here in Oz. Our tap water is fine to drink. Get yourself a light long sleeve shirt instead of the singlet too.
Thank you Garry! I debunked the myth in my new video :) I also don’t like single use plastic so don’t worry ! And I drink the tap water here, it’s perfectly fine
If you're planting yourself in sydney. Then one day you should train it out to the Blue Mountains. I grew up there in the 80s. Of course its changed alot but worth an investigation 🔎
I will definitely check out the blue mountains soon :) thanks for the tip!
You look handsome with your shades, Tim. Just enjoy your stay here in the Philippines. Keep safe, Tim. Just subscribed.
Welcome to the philippines. Did you find it dangerous as people told you.
I like the "fresh, unadulterated, spontaneous, and witty" style of vlogging--through YOUR eyes and ears only! Enjoy the rest of your journey. Cheers!
Thank you very much for your comment. I appreciate it 😊
Are you from ireland?
Yes sir 🇮🇪
How come you don’t have an irish accent?
It’s a mystery!

Thank you!! I will definitely go there :)
Wow enjoy sir
The 'chicken deformity' is a Brush Turkey, quite common in Australia!
Welcome! There are so many great walks in Sydney. Spit Bridge to Manly is a stunner.
Thank you !

Welcome to Sydney ❤
As an Australian I’m amazed at your failure to protect yourself from the sun and lack of water. You may have heard of the slogan ‘slip, slop, slap, seek, slide’. School children are taught these principles! Melanoma is a real thing for young and old. Please google. I’d not be surprised if next day you had a blinding migraine , vomiting and sun burn!
I’m writing this out of concern for you.
Hi Paul 😊 thank you for your concern! I was absolutely fine, not in the slightest bit burnt. I mentioned in the video I filmed this at around 7am and I actually stopped filming around 8:30am-9:00am. The UV was quite low at that point so I knew I was alright with sunscreen. Had this been 12pm I wouldn’t dream of going out for a hike let alone film it. I’m planning on doing a video on slip slop slap principles ☀️🚫
first 10 secs looked unreal
It definitely felt unreal! Thanks for watching :)
