Your first and last scene's camera work is impressive. What equipment did you use sir?

I still use the Osmo pocket 1, the 4k is great, and I couple it up with my Tascam Portacapture X8 and the results are as good as when I use my good cameras Fujifilm XH2

I've been using the same ssk 1tb hard drive & 256 gb hard drive for a hot minute and they work fine, just gotta reduce the size of the images to fit space

Thanks! That was cool. yeah, this camera is pretty neat and delivers dang great results when you apply basic principles, and looks way better than video coming from my iphone 13. Ebay has these at a great price, get some cheap filters and boom, you're producing some great footage.

I dont use macs but if apple isnt stupid write caching should be off by default, in which case if your not activly using the drive and its just some random program stopping it from being ejected just force ejecting it is alot faster and not dangerous or anything.

Hmmm, not sufficient advice when we have 8TB of home photos and videos all digitized + 6 milk-crate sized prints that I aim to digitize (probably during retirement.) Right now I have the digitized photos & videos on 6 external USB drives, a couple at 3TB and 4 more at 5TB. So everything is definitely double-backed up, but hard/confusing to keep them all organized so kids/grandkids will be able to search and find e.g. photos from Florida trip in 2002 or whatever. I won't use HW tech that may be faster but hit end-of-life in 5 or 10 years (like CDs dying now) but I do foresee USB will be stable and backwards compatible for a few more decades (albeit probably with Jurassic FAT32 file systems.) Similarly, I cannot trust that any photo/video database software will last and be upwards compatible for a few more decades, but I do foresee that Excel and especially CSV files will last for a few more decades. So I am planning to number my 6 drives 1PrimaryBackup & 1SecondaryBackup + 2Pri & 2Sec + 3Pri & 3Sec ... where 1=Late 1800s to 1989, 2=1990 to 2013, 3=2014 to 2024, and add pairs of drives thereafter. If new and obviously STABLE tech comes along, then I or my kids could port the old USB drives to new tech. BOTTOM LINE: Am I doing it wrong? Missing anything? Any advice?

This paired with the DJI extension rod that's made for pocket 1 becomes a really good camera for vlog and travel. But the pocket 3 shines when it comes to shooting night time videos.

I believe as long as you have lithium batteries in the bag, they cannot ask you to put it under. Flight policy.

I have the DGI pocket and I went just a little bit overboard on how I set it up but it works great. I put it in a Handheld Stabilizer with Smartphone Video Rig with RGB Light and movo X1 on top . I use the note 8 phone for advanced settings control and as a large screen monitor. Also running a multi output USB /C-port battery pack for continuous run time Great little Rig !!!
