Good Morning, Miss Bliss - Original Pilot (Part 3 of 3)
This is the original pilot of "Good Morning, Miss Bliss", which aired on July 11, 1987 on NBC.
Brian Austin Green was, in essence, the "lead" student in the pilot, as Adam Montcrief, a particularly serious student, who wore business suits.
Several other characters from the series existed in the pilot but were played by different actors; Mr. Gerald Belding was played by Oliver Clark, and Miss Tina Paladrino was played by Maria O'Brien.
Although Hayley Mills was the only actor to survive beyond the pilot, her character in the pilot was named Mrs. Davis.
I've uploaded this because the other copies floating around on the net are very poor quality (even for TH-cam), ie: low frame rate, blurry image...etc.
I've uploaded this video untouched, directly to TH-cam the second I got my hands on it. This is probably the best version that you will ever find anywhere else.
This pilot is extremely rare, as it was only aired ONCE.
Enjoy the Nostalgia. :)

WOW! I never knew Jaleel White, Jonathan Brandis and Brian Austin Green was on this show! And I've heard of this show but never actually saw it. I only know Saved By The Bell.
Not only did "SeaQuest" not have a chance to wear out its welcome, as opposed to "90210" and "Family Matters," but it premiered AND ended while the other two shows were still running: 90210 -- 1990 to 2000 SeaQuest -- 1993 to 1996 Family Matters -- 1989 to 1998 It was as if "SeaQuest" was a needle in a haystack. Given that Jonathan Brandis got his start on "Miss Bliss" with two future TV stars, this makes me wonder if his failed series (I'm speaking only in comparison to Brian and Jaleel's) was instrumental to his depression. Sort of like when you graduate high school and don't reach the level of success of your classmates.
"Growing up Urkel" anyone??
How they fire Jaleel White?
imagine if the video was actually watchable.
Mr Belding??? That is not mr. Belding. 🙂
That looks like the exact same set as the classroom in Boy Meets World...
I like Miss Bliss more than belding.
Gabriel Damon Brian Austin Green Jaleel white Very interesting 👌

Thank you
Man where's Zack and the crew?😂😂😂
Johnathan brandis hung himself
2024 and there is 499k views. And we’re all here because we are Saved By the Bell fans. Zach introducing his Jr High Years episodes was still one of the biggest shocks of my childhood.
A show where a teach like Miss Bliss gave all the kids, good or bad, severe thrashings would have gotten off on the right foot and would still be popular today.
I remember watching sbtb (the junior high episodes) and I remember my mom telling me that it was called Good Morning Miss Bliss. I never believed her until I found the pilot episode. JB, JW, BG this was probably their first appearances ever.
Omgosh Urkel! ❤
5:19 I had to replay that because I genuinely thought he said f off.
Brian Austin Green’s character is basically a younger Alex P. Keaton from Family Ties.
Good morning Miss Bliss and the Amanda show are even one or both of my favorite but best tv shows of all time forever
This is wild
This theme song is so 80’s
Little urkel
*FUN FACT:* Jonathan Brandis and his girlfriend (Tatyana Ali) both starred alongside an actor who has played a character named Bobby Wilson. I am referring to Spankee Rodgers who had a small role in the episode of “Fresh Prince” where Ashley threw a wild party while her parents were gone. She told one of the guests (Spankee) to put out his cigarette. Although his character was unnamed in that episode, he was also the token black guy on “Saved by the Bell: The New Class” for one season, as Bobby Wilson. I wonder if the writers recycled that name. As a homage to Mario Lopez, the token Latina on “The New Class” was named Maria Lopez. 🤔 🧐
This wouldn’t have lasted more than one season it’s boring
Wow. Worst television theme ever! 🏄♂️
Is that the boy meets world classroom? lol
Wow! a patient, loving, understanding calm-mannered female teacher in the 80's? That seams unrealistic. They just didn''t exist!
Has Saved by the Bell had more iterations than any other sitcom? Good Morning, Miss Bliss (NBC) Good Morning, Miss Bliss (Disney) Good Morning, Miss Bliss (Rebranded as the ‘Saved by the Bell: The Junior High Years’ with Zack intro) Saved by the Bell Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style Saved by the Bell: The College Years Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas Saved by the Bell: The New Class Saved by the Bell (Reboot)
4:48 Rest in peace Jonathan Brandis. Jonathan Brandis and Jakeel White were also on a tv show called "111 Gramercy Park". It was Jonathan's last role before he died.
Man, Jaleel White and Jonathan Brandis? This pilot looks better than the Good Morning Miss Bliss that I have on DVD (which was part of the Complete Saved By The Bell Collection). At least, the first part in the classroom with all the students. It gets a bit boring when the kids aren't on screen. This wasn't even on my DVD's for some reason.
4:00 Steve Urkel xDDD so young!!!
It's Mr Davenport from One Day At a Time
There's Urkel but no Zack and Slater?
Americana, the american dream, only on tv.
Is that the same classroom that Mr Feeny taught in Boy Meets World?
This theme song…yikes.
A little creepy the kid hit on her and she said “I like that boy”. Eek. Still, though, I remember this so well. I always wonder how shitty Hayley Mills felt when they took the show named for her and rebranded it without her
July 11, 1988 (not 1987).... Post Facts of Life series finale by a week or few!!!
Damn that flutter on the intro is insane
Jonathan Brandis always had sad eyes. He played the role well here, because he was actually always sad. He committed suicide Nov 12, 2003. In 6 days from now it will be 20 years since his death. I was so naive growing up, I thought we were going to get married, I loved him so much. 💔 I'll always love him, even from further a distance.
That intro is so weird
Great stuff here
Oh the days when sitcom theme openings were emotional and meaningful
Did I just see Jaleel White before he became Steve Urkel?
Yep and if this continued we wouldn’t have had Urkel
Steve urkal. Wow
1:41 dafuq was that??
Good pilot episode 👍
Good pilot episode 👍
The good ole days
