      @@Jolt_Soda so far in short, I like it . Well balanced , good details, no sign of drivers frequency overlap issues and so good details ( including kind of able to tell some reverb in studio recordings). Very good and feel "linear" mid to high, thus high hats / cymbals sound like they should. Just becos of Harman tuning? Slight lack of mid bass area making everything sound a tag thin . Eg grand piano become an up-right. If on sale , great bang for the buck .

    • @Zigonce
      @Zigonce 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bitofthisanddad it is a conspiracy by big audio to sell "professional break in gear" to "break in your earphones". It's just a placebo. You should buy two sets of earphones, run one in and not the other, mark the run in one and have someone put them both on your head without you seeing thr marking. You will not be able to tell the difference. It would be a great video

    • @bitofthisanddad
      @bitofthisanddad 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Zigonce I have thought of that. Buying 2 of the same earphone/headphone for such test. But since I can already tell the different , I didn't bother that anymore, also I have to spend twice the money as I am not a reviewer and I am buying all my own gears. I don't continuously listen to the subject that is being run-in, but rather listen to it at intervals of say a hundred hour. So the difference is more pronounced. I think most manufacturers never make suggestions about break in, and for one or two do, only suggest run in time of about 30 hours? Wether it is placebo, only you know . No one else knows. Do you think there are difference in cable or is it placebo too?

My phono stage is a Bob's devices SUT going into a CJ PV12 phono stage only, then on to an LTA MZ3 pre. (Not impressed with the rega fono mc.) PS - lots of attention to isolation, on a shelf around the corner from my listening area. You are one of the most authentic and honest reviewers I have listened to.

    I had this CD player, I initially had it hooked to a separate third party amp and speakers but later it was paired with a Philips matching era amp, cassette and radio stacking system. It seemed incredible to me, in the late 1980’s to mid 1990’s I kept it running. When I moved into my own home my dad kept it and sadly a while later sent it to the landfill.
