Setting up my work from home office corner. Feel free to let me know what you would suggest to add to my setup 🤍 I like facing the room instead of a wall. how to get internship in salesforce?
Good morning and thanks for this great video. I’m 59 and getting ready for my admin exam. What advice do you have for me to be ready for my first interview and land a job. I believe in myself but I feel a huge challenge for starting this career. Thanks
Thank you, this video is super helpful; although I wonder how much they make a year
Thank you Mikee!
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO!

Your video is a blessing in my life. I am also going to escape the lab life. Thank you!

Can we entry with CRT 101 certification
Hi Mikee, I have a question . If I have an immigration constraint to work in the US such as if I can work only as a contractor on 1099 and NOT on W-2 , how can I make that happen with a sales force ecosystem clients.
This is so informative thank you from Kenya
I passed the admin exam on the first try. I did the complete trailhead for Admin and used the Focus on Force study guide and practice exams. All of my notes are hand written and once I completed the study guide, I started on the practice exams. I took all of them until I passed each. I took notes on every question I got wrong and would go back to Trailhead to reinforce some stuff. Currently following the same process with the advanced admin exam. Hopefully I'll have the same results. Oh, a tip if you like Focus on Force is to see if they have the bundle with the exam voucher. You'll get the study guide and practice exams basically for free. Good luck everyone!!
I have two of your videos and taken notes so far. Thank you so much for doing these.
Sounds like you work for a telecommunications company that uses salesforce. 👀
Thanks
Duhhhh
A quick question? When you buy the bundle on focus on force , is the exam certification fee included?
No it’s not a bundle. Focus on force is a separate company. The exam certification is $200 for Salesforce
damn sister, i love your energy...
Appreciate you!
Good morning and thank you. I am 58 years old and desperately need a career change. I have no knowledge. You think it’s possible for me to get into this business and possibly change my life for better down the road? God bless. By the way I done a BS degree in IT but I haven’t worked in the field but I have basic knowledge of networking and computer skills. Could that help me in this field.
Definitely! You have so much experience in the tech space already. I think if you get some hands on experience with Salesforce, you’ll be competitive
I have worked with salesforce tech consultants. Their quality and skills can vary a lot! 80% Indians, 19% White, 1% others imagine a scenario where there are - 100 Indian off shore, 100 whites, 100 other applicants 80 Indians, 19 whites, and 1 other applicant will become salesforce tech consultants. if you team get that 1 other applicant that person is going to possess the skill level of an indian 2-3 levels above him. It is insane.
Go Rebels‼️
Ayeeeee!
Thanks for sharing your story Mikee!, Of grate help!
Glad to help!
Hi Mikee, I am from a Support background, i dont have any programming knowledge, i am Indian, can i learn Salesforce and get a job?
Do you recommend the salesforce associate certification for starting in salesforce ?
I don’t think it’s necessary! But a good intro
Mikee, After seeing your TH-cam videos, I started studying Salesforce. I am almost finished with my administrative classes. The acquisition of certification may be expedited by the use of internship suggestions. Can you provide me with assistance with this problem, please?
Do you miss working in a biology related company/job? Can you do anything related to that in your free time instead?
Thanks for posting this. I know its much later now, but I have the same job goals as you and I'm 55 years old. I got my associate in business administration in 2008, as the economy was in freefall. You might not be old enough to remember much about that, but nobody was hiring. I fell through the cracks and have worked small jobs since. I did work for the Bing search engine remotely for 11 years as an ad assessor. It seems like Salesforce might be a good fit. I just came across Mr Rice on a podcast today. I started his 5 day challenge to see if this might help me figure out if it's for me. I'm glad you mentioned that you couldn't afford his program. I probably won't be able to if you couldn't, so thanks for sharing the courses you took, tips and tricks. I hope you are doing even better now. Blessings.
Still valid in 2024. Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Mikee, where can i get experience as a volunteer in salesforce administrator in united states, Can u give some site address where i can look for the same.
This is such a good one. Thanks for taking us through your day as an admin. Looking forward to more
Hi Mikee in this current day an age with soo much supply of talent coming into the ecosystem, would you say its best to work with a recruiter to find that first role ? Entry level roles seem very saturated ryt now. Would love your thoughts on this.
hey, lianne how long the duration to get a certificate on salesforce and how master this field ..????
Hey Mikee, cool video and great work on the others too. I am not new to studying for the admin exam. I have tried MW in the past and it was not for me. Trailhead is missing structure and is geared more towards on the job training. When it comes to preparing for the admin exam is there something you have come across recently that is a better resource?
hi Philip I think Focusonforce helped me pass the most. Study Guide: focusonforce.com/administrator-certification-study-guide/?ref=223730 Practice Exams focusonforce.com/admin-study-guide/?ref=223730 For me, conceptually this helped the most. Good luck on your exam!
@@Mikeelianne I agree focusonforce is a great resource.
I found your channel last year when I decided to learn about Salesforce. It was so inspiring. I just passed my Admin exam last week. 🎉 I also used Focus on Force and I watched the TH-cam Salesforce Now videos.
That’s awesome!! Congratulations on passing your exam 🫶
Also, Did you start your job remotely or go from office to remote over time?
Did you learn a lot of things throughout your salesforce career compared to the knowledge you knew before going into your job? Also, what is your work-life balance like? Do you often have a lot of time to travel, spend time with your family or is your schedule always so jam packed? I’m taking my test in two weeks and just wanted to ask a few questions about your job!
How long did you take to study these courses ?
You just got a new subscriber! I'm on this journey and want to know everything i can learn!
Thank you for your support! You got this!
Hello, I want to attend the salesforce admin course, I would be happy if you help me.
So you used trailblazer and the other training at the same time?
How can I learn salesforce admin? I would be happy if you help me.
Thanks for this perspective! Your cat is adorable btw :)
Almost done with my certification. Now I'm really nervous about applying for jobs 😭
Hello, I reached out to you on LinkedIn. It’s questions about Salesforce.
I'm working on my admin cert, so this was very nice to watch. Thanks Mikee!
Glad it was helpful! Good luck on your cert :)
