Why would you chop the top on the best looking body there is ???????
That’s the 64 thousand dollar question. There are great looking car bodies out there, this is definitely one of them. The chop is very slight, and just changes the profile a tiny bit, a lot of people won’t even notice.
Wow thats a ton of work,but a real tricky car to get the proportions right still a lot of windshield left tho,but you guyc do super quality work.

Great video Jess. The guys at the Jalopy shop do such a great job fabricating and designing everything on the 38 Coupe! Btw- there were a couple good bloopers at the end of the video especially the silly joke about Mom’s back end. He definitely wasn’t talking about your Mom Jess!😂👍🏻

Yep, the red jalopy was built by John Hahn and Jonnie Brown in Naches in the early 70s

This video reminds me of when I used to travel to Jamaica with my family several times a year. The children loved it. Especially, chasing the baby animal and waking up early to go out with their grandfather to feed the animals. They are all professionals now and give back to Jamaica in many ways. Bless up to you and your family.

Skip Geer who wrote for Antique Chevy Journal told me years ago that Chevy WWll weapons carriers were given Pontiac flat head 6's. My neighbors had one made into a dump truck. I was scratching my head when I saw that power plant with "GM" markings. it was like a ton 1 1/2 ton with regular cab.
I contacted my dad. He’s had 3 military trucks in this era. One was a 1-1/2 ton 2 wheel drive, it had a 216. Another one was a 4 (6) wheel drive, it had a 235. It’s hard to determine what is what.
Iam working on my 46 and love it sand blasting not so much but when the old lady's bitching iam etching to go to the garage and work on my baby haven't got a name for her yet but plenty of time to decide one. Like your videos sweet ride
46s are pretty special to me. My first rig is a 46 and I still have it. Bought it on 1977! Have fun with your truck, and I hope we can inspire you Thanks for watching

My Dad bought me A 41 Chevy p.up when I was 14 for 100 bucks setting in a field in 84 ! little did we know the Value of these truck today ! In his day he told me he'd buy A 55 Chevy two door Hardtop 35.00 and Drive it Home ! Wish I'd seen those days also ! ✌
